perfect combination

I go there quiet often and I was never disappointed. The perfect harmony between food friendly but not to sophisticated service. Almost familiar . The quality of the product is high end. The price ist compared to this in a reasonable section. It is not only about the seafood but about the meat. If... read more

A great disappointment the menu was very fish oriented, it was expensive, my wife and I had two courses each and a total of three glasses of wine, cost 98.5 euro. Service was slow

Nice restaurant in the city center, rather French cuisine, the sound level is high when full. The food is good and the prices fair.

We were there for dinner / 8 persons, 2 kids/, the restaurant offers tasty food with french/ Belgian flair, but the service was slow. I would strongly recommend the seafood dishes, all were fresh, good prepared and tasty..

Probably the best service that we have received from a restaurant in Vienna. The friendly and attentive wait staff and pleasant atmosphere make this an excellent choice for dinner. The food was quite good, my lobster bisque was nothing special but my main course of Guineafowl was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The sides that we ordered were also... More

Wonderful hospitality, very reasonable and high quality french food. Exclusively French wine list, with prices spanning the spectrum of 40 to well over 1000 Euros, so something for anyone. We had the lobster bisque and the escargot starters, followed by a shared Cote de boeuf, which was exceptional...grilled to medium rare, very tasty and seasoned only with salt and pepper.... More

It was my first night in Vienna and it was very hot outdoors. I wanted someplace that was good, but not stuffy or pretentious, and a restaurant near my hotel. Le Salzgries filled the bill -- we had a table outdoors on a quiet street; the service was attentive and helpful (with the waiters able to converse in German, French,... More

Very good food and wine! But prices on whiskey are too high! I'd recommend this place for dinner! Would definitely go there one more time

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
