Great Brunch

You need to make a reservation for Weekends but it is worth it. We ate there on Sunday, after the 11am cavalry Charge to the tiny buffet things do quiet down. Great fresh Food and Young and willing ( if a little under-trained) Servers Really nice place !

The first time, I found this restaurant by coincidence, and I became impressed right away. Since then, every time I visit Vienna, I go there. The food tastes good (actually very good) with large portions. I highly recommend the Sunday brunch. Service is excellent. The staff is friendly, polite and professional. The prices are very reasonable and more on the... More

Loved the brunch, loved the location. It's people watching, while enjoying a great brunch with a wide selection of delicious breakfast items, in a century old building. I used to live in Vienna, and this area 'Spittelberg' (it's where old Vienna mixes with young culture) is one of my favorites. It's close to museums, young culture and shopping. I always... More

We visited for a late lunch with a bowl of soup. The stay was not particularly enjoyable. The music was too loud. We got moved because our child left fingerprints on the mirror. The amount of soup was a bit on the low side. It took them a long time for everything.

... and care about our planet. That's the cafe latte vision. For years now, there is no convenience food, sustainable products are used and every dish is prepared when ordered. I've always experienced friendly service and constant high quality food.

The breakfast is very nice. I had the Oriental breakfast and it was very tasty. The price is very much ok for vienna. I enjoyed very much the patio, if the weather is good, I would totally recommend a table outside. The staff is quite friendly.

Often a crowded place - but especially Saturday there is an obvious reason. You can have lunch with a buffet style serving for a very low price. Quality and variations in food is quite OK, so this is a good bargain. Sorry: they normally have a smoking area at the entrance area, so all have to enjoy the smoke... -... More

I only had breakfast there and it was good enough, although it could have been more copious. The staff was not especially friendly.

We went to Caffe Latte on a Sunday night. It was one of few restaurants open on a Sunday. Courtyard was beautifully lighted and decorated. Lots of people were sitting outside even though it was a late September night. We had garlic bread, chicken salads, tiramisu and warm chocolate cake. Everything was great. Best meal we had in Vienna. And... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
