Ella's Restaurant Vienna

Was taken there for lunch - it was a hot day but I had a fish dish which was cooked very well and a salad as well. The staff were very attentive and the service quick - the people who own it are authentic greeks and that makes a difference when you serve Greek food in Austria. Very good... read more

We spotted this while on the Segway tour during the day. Last minute booking on the terrace was available but it was a wednesday night. Gorgeous mediterranean style food very friendly service, not a bad price either. Well worth a visit when you've had enough schnitzel and goulash! Lovely quiet square too!

We went on a Saturday night having just chanced upon it. Could not sit outside, you need to book in advance, but had a good table inside. Food was excellent everyone enjoyed their meal my squid stuffed with cheese etc. Was probably the best squid I have had. The waitress was delightful and they recommended a good but not pricey... A nice place to eat in Judeplatz, which is a closed square, so quiet and secluded. Our party had mixed reviews on the food. As Americans, most did not enjoy the beef (probably because fed different food), but I found the fish to be very good. Slightly to the higher end, the waiter was also one of the better we... More

Modern decor Greek restaurant. The cuisine is refined and modern and very tasty. To top it off, it has amazing price quality: 225€ for 2 courses with drinks for 7 people! Very nice service as well

This is a very nice restaurant on a great central location. We ate Ella's Greek hamburgers with fries and tzatziki . The hamburgers were fine, but there were a bit too many flavors present in it, so we couldn't even taste the meat. The prices were a bit high.

Located in the first district on Judenplatz next to the Jewish Museum, Ella's serves delicious Mediterranean Cuisine: Food is very good and tasty, seasonal adapted. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice wine-list. Interior is cool and stylish. Wonderful terrace in front of the restaurant. Ella's is ideal for business luncheons.

The restaurant was recommended by the barman at our hotel. ( his girlfriend works there) We didn't make a reservation. The restaurant was fully booked. However after waiting 20 minutes they arranged a table. Food is reasonably priced, but very tasty. High quality, fresh ansd served with a smile.

A great restaurant. The decoration is nice and modern. Staff is experienced and attentive to the customer's needs. Food is fusion but of good quality and very nicely presented. Tried the sirloin for main and was very happy with my choice. The fish looked good too. I ll surely try next time. Also had a bottle of wine and an... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
