Basic alcoholic paradise

Typical boozy, smoky place. Staff generally ok.Too many rowdy drunks.Received a second pint before departure which I could only describe as tasting of bleach, poured this down the sink where it belonged!

I had an Erasmus trip in Vienna for four months and this was our favourite haunt by far, the food is generous and usually delicious, the cocktail sausages and chips are a bit weird when you're an English/Irish native but the prices are good and the drinks are generous too, the service is amazing compared to other restaurants nearby. Definitely... More

Well worth a visit. A home from home Irish pub. Great food, great staff, an excellent pint of Guinness, I could have been at my local!!

This bar made us feel so welcome when we were over in Vienna for Eurovision and accommodated an unexpectedly large gang who'd arrived to watch the Marriage Equality Referendum result. Great food, quality service, friendly, welcoming - big big thank you, really made our day special.

As above. Good pub with no frills as it should be. No more to it. Friendly. Young vibe but happy with all.

We spent Easter 2015 in Vienna and dropped into Flanagan's on our first night. We found a tall table in the window inside the non-smoking restaurant section and had a couple of pints of Stiegl beer. Friendly staff and quick to ask if we wanted a top-up. We didn't eat here, but the food that we saw looked plentiful. Returned... More

When you just can't eat another schnitzel, go to Flanagan's. Easy to find off the walking mall. Great pub food. Everything from a hearty meat pie, to fish and chips, to light veggie dinners.

The choice in this area is between 1516 and Flanagans. The food is better at 1516 - but there is smoking downstairs. For me the decider is the service. At 1516 it's excellent. At Flanagans it's indifferent at best. I spent 5 minutes standing at the bar while 3 waiting staff chatted, and glanced occasionally in my direction. Food, when... More

This was my go-to pub in Vienna. I don't know why people are complaining about hamburgers in an Irish Pub. I was there for the Guinness. The bartenders were friendly and there was nearly always a football match on.

considering that it is a popular Irish pub, I was expecting a reasonable burger. but it was teh worst I had ever had. firstly, the bacon was not crispy, in fact it came as if it was a raw chicken breast (it looked like a raw chicken breast, without any exaggeration) and when I asked the waiters to at least... Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
