A Nice Light Break from Heavy Food.

Despite a love for the pork and sausages and pastries of Vienna it is good to be able to indulge in some cooked green vegetables and generally lighter food. There are a number of Asian restaurants around the Naasch Mkt area but each one seems to carry all Asian countries e.g. the Szechuan Kitchen... read more

I love to visit this restaurant with family and friends because they serve fresh foods and one of the child-friendly restaurant I've known (highchairs so the kids can join in). The Appetizer Platters is really good and they have special lunch menu with relatively cheaper price (11:30-15:00). My favourite drink is Green Tea with Milk !!!

Tasteless spring rolls full of unidentifiable debris. The worst chicken ever. Strange taste and only the skin and bad bits put in the dish. Terrible service. Wasn't asked how my meal was whilst I was attempting to eat it (I spat most of it out in a napkin) and had stood up and put my coat on after sat waiting... More

We sampled their summer rolls: shrimp and duck. The rice wrapper was not as soft as we are used to. Had the beef pho-good, not great. The rice dishes were fine. Iced coffee to top off the lunch. I would thnik that this place is ablove average for Vietnamese/Asian food in Europe, but compared to the States, not very impressed... More

After 4 days of eating bratwurst, schnitzels, and other heavy Austrian food, Saigon was definitely a great break. Pho soup is very popular in the USA, but IMHO Pho Thai bo tastes better in Vienna, then in USA. Definitely recommend this place.

A very good Vietnamese restaurant, serving tasty dishes. Service prompt and efficient. It makes a nice change to eat Asian after a surfeit of heavier Austrian cuisine. Well worth visiting.

We had dinner tonight and it was very very good. The device was very attentive and the food was just perfect. We had 2 small soups- delicious and 3 different main dishes which was just great. It was well done and reminded us of some of the best restaurants in Saigon. Go there and enjoy a great meal. Yona d

This place appeared quite popular to different groups of people. We actually went twice during our stay because the food was fresh and really tasty. It was nice to get fresh vegetables in dishes and in tasty sauces. The Saigon style pork was just beautiful. Service is quick and friendly and prices are good.

We crosses by this Asian restaurant on the way back to our hotel. No crowd so we came in. It tastes good and the service is great as well. You may stay here to enjoy a quiet lunch/dinner.

We are bored with all the restaurants we used to visit, finally I persuade my family to try this one, if you are coming on Saturday do come with public transportation. The food are great and worth to come.

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
