My wife and I wanted something other than Austrian food after travelling in the country for a couple of weeks. Siam ticked all the boxes, the restaurant was clean and well appointed, the food was great and the price was reasonable. We had two salads, two different rices, two mains and a bottle of wine for 59 Euro. The service... More

This restaurant is in a convenient location near Karlsplatz and the Muzikverein in Vienna. It is a large restaurant with lots of Thai-style decorations. The kitchen is open until late so it is convenient for an after-theater dinner. Good and friendly service. I visited with a friend. The food was OK but certainly not the best Thai in Vienna. I... Authentic thai restaurant but average quality of food. A little bit too sweet from the original one.

SIAM restaurant was the first Thai restaurant I went to while in Vienna. It is centrally located in the city centre, within the Karlplatz area and it can be easily seen due to the big restaurant sign in front. Inside, the restaurant is large with many seating places. Decor is quite Thai-ish. Service is OK. I find the food to... More

The food there is totally disapopinting, not the same cooking way/taste as in Thailand. Tom Yam soup tastes like fake Tom Yam, even if I did tell the waitress that I want them to cook for Thai, which is supposed to be Thai Taste, not the soft taste for westerner. Kai Yad Sai (Omelette with stuffing) is no where you... More

The atmosphere and service was friendly and (seemingly rare in Vienna) this restaurant is completely smoke-free. The food was good, not great, but not bad either. We ordered a couple appetizers and their Green Curry their Pad Thai. We didn't stay for dessert as there are better places to get dessert--any Viennese cafe would do. My advice is, if you... More

The interior decoration of the restaurant is interesting. Every surface of the restaurant is occupied by some picture or object and its quite entertaining to stare at them. The food was good, but somehow I was not impressed. I have no particular complain, but I wouldn't go another time... Anyway, it does not hurt to eat there, so I would... More

We lived in Vienna for seven months and went to this place weekly! We love Thai food and this place is 100% authentic Thai. It is located across the street from the Opera House just one block (other side of the Opernring). Due to its location and popularity, it does get pretty busy on the weekends so plan on making...
