Typical Chinese/taiwanese "vegetarian" place without vegetables. Plenty of meat substitutes- fake beef, chicken, shrimp etc by mixing tofu with kelp, smoking it for bacon taste, etc. only two or three dishes have some actual vegetables. The dim sum bland and tasteless. Very classy decor though, but service soso.

It's really not easy to write this review. Let me start off by saying that the food here is AMAZING! Seriously, it's and incredible vegetarian/vegan experience. Everything we tasted - was great. But... I must admit the service here was questionable, to say the least. The restaurant closes at 23:00 and on both times we attended Vegetasia - we were... More

Cuisine is vegetarian. The chef uses tofu as a meat or fish surrogate - which you may like or not; in any case they do it very well. Food is simply excellent, interior design modern and clean, service is very good. At noon: varied and excellent buffet for a very moderate price. highly recommended

All veggie Asian spot with many vegan options. Ask for an English menu, they do have them particularly as wait staff does not speak a lot of English. The soup was a bit of a disappointment, but overall the meal was decent. It is definitely out of the way, a bit of a walk from the Belvedere and a hike... More

Everything at Vegetasia is veggie or vegan. I had the vegan spring rolls, followed by a 'steak' main course. Everything was hot and tasty. The 'steak' consisted of moulded chewy shitake mushroom stalks, served with rice and greens. (I didn't try other mock meats as I'm not a fan). Dessert was rice pudding pieces with red bean filling and mango... More

Vegetasia achieves a modern Asian aesthetic in managing to be both modern and minimalist, with a smart white interior, and rather comfortable and warm. Other diners who had already finished their meals when we arrived stayed for hours afterwards, chatting and drinking Asian beer. The selection is breathtaking and the food is really excellent, much better than any of the... More

Vegetasia is an amazing vegan restaurant with a variety of food that let's even carnivores convert. Every now and then, my colleagues and I go for the lunch buffet to Vegetasia and this is pretty unusual as I have some hardcore meat-eaters I'm working with. Well, they say that they wouldn't be able to convert entirely but eating here let's... More

I came to Vienna not wanting my vegetarian experience to be limited to the standard Chinese Buddhist offerings. Was I ever happy that this restaurant happened to be the closest veg place to my hotel! I can state with confidence that this was the best Asian vegetarian restaurant I’ve ever eaten at, and I have eaten at such places all... More
