Good for salads

It was full and we got a big table where 20 people are sitting with You. Next to me was a guy that didnt know how to behave while eating. But the salads were great!

The place is very cozy and cute, the menu is quite extensive, and the food is absolutely delicious! The coffee and the hot chocolate were one the best I had in Vienna.

Been there with my girl on a normal thursday afternoon. We were surprised by the rather unfriendly and snotty waitress, since the atmosphere seemed so lovely, but we were rewarded with super delicious french cousine. The food was as marvelous as we imagined. We ordered onion soup, bread with goat cheese and quiche with salad. If it weren't for the... More

Looking for a cafe for breakfast off Kartner Strasse is not easy to do. With all of its stores, Kartner and its cross streets are surprising void of cafes. Ow as raining, and I had a sheet time available for a bite before a business meeting. Finally, on Neuer Markt we found Le Bol, a charming French cafe with communal... More

I stumbled across 'Le Bol' during a one night business stay in Vienna. I walked in without any booking, and I am still not sure how it all works as people were coming and sitting down without waiting to be seated. Eventually I sat at the large communal table in the centre of the main room. There are lots of... More

Visited several times over the past ten years. Every time (if you can get a place) the atmosphere, service and food was outstanding. Love the large table, which gives it a feeling of eating at a friends place. Many more years of Le Bol!

Buzzing, busy French café serving lovely food. One of the best salads in town - Monsieur Seguin, and lovely coffee. The problem is getting a table- you can reserve in person for a table inside, no reservations are taken for outside tables in summer. Perhaps try to avoid the main lunch break and you might be lucky. Service is ok... More

the place is one of the cutest but busiest places in Vienna. when outdoor seating is available you might have a slight Chance to get a table, but generally you have to wait quite a bit. what is really awesome is that they serve coffee in proper bowles rather than Cups - which is something Special :)

Sorry to say but this is the most terrible experience we had ever have! The blonde elderly waitress ask us to pay right after the order. No credit card rule in the caffe, so we had to pay with a cash but they didn't accept large banknote of euro, with an excuse that its not possible to pay whit large... More

Although I have eaten many sandwiches, I had not had the opportunity try the tartine sandwich till Iwent to Le Bol. The staff are great, as is the food and atmosphere. Fab stop for lunch with the locals. Can recommend the goats cheese, salami and pomegrant tartine- weird combo but delicious.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
