Good Italian restaurant

We found this restaurant in a quiet courtyard while walking one evening in Vienna. Lovely ambiance. We had a good Italian dinner, particularly the seafood. The service was OK, not great. A bit expensive.

Avoid. Our server was extremely rude and pushy and was trying to make us pick aperitives, appetizers, desserts and so on when we just wanted to have some nice pasta for lunch. After hearing "no thanks" for serveral times, his facial expression and tone of speech made us feel uncomfortable. The only reason we didn't leave right away was that... More

The place is nicely situated in a quiet courtyard close to main street. We took grilled bronzino for two recommended by the waiter. The fish was good but not special, just grilled fish you can eat everywhere. I had better bronzino in quite a few places for much lower price: this restaurant is way too expensive for the value they... More

What a pity you get the hard sell. Always determine the price of any special you are offered or you will get mightily ripped off More than twice you would expect. SOME staff are pleasant and attentive!

It was Sunday in Vienna and several restaurants were closed. We found this restaurant just down the street from the Park Hyatt (AM Hof) where we were staying. I read the so-so reviews on Trip Advisor and was a little concerned but there were few restaurants nearby that were open so we stopped in for the daily special -- Ravioli... More

Rude, un-attend and bossy staff. I have no comment with the food and location which is good. But the staff have a very bad attitude for service. It a tradition for 3 course meal, which I am highly understand, but many shop where they serve a tourist understand the different culture. However, the staff here will force you to order... More

party of six We stumbled across this restaurant by our chance. It is in a charming small courtyard off the beaten track. We all opted for the mixed anti pasta for starters, all was lovely. Staff were very attentive without being too intrusive. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A lovely dining experience.

Our party of four ordered three pasta dinners and a crepe, on a rather slow Wednesday night. It took 1.5 hours for the three pastas, and another 15 minutes to get the final meal for the remaining member of our party. Several other parties arrived after us and were served before us. Clearly, they did not value our business, or... More

Found this restaurant by accident, and decided to stop for a late lunch / early dinner. The quiet was polite and took time to understand what we wanted, even in what must have been an even more foreign language for him. Sea Bass was quite superb, and spaghetti worth for types of romaine excellent. Not cheap - €230 for four... More

The location (in a quiet side of the city centre, out of a gallery), is excellent. The food likewise, truly Italian. Had an unfortunate experience though, with the cocky owner/maitre d' getting our order, bringing something else, then announcing there's a mistake, making us wait another 20 minutes for a dish with no apologies whatsoever. I mean, he could take... More

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
