Great Dining

Booked well in advance. Little difficult to find especially if you come off the trams. But once you are there the staff help you relax. A smaller venue but warm and cosy without the fuss. Everyone would feel comfortable here. Excellent menu (we chose a la carte) and wine list. Good... read more

This restaurant has a Michelin star and they clearly deserve it. The quality of the food was excellent, as is the service. I chose deer as the main course which was delicious. High quality cooking! What was peculiar was the speed with which the dishes arrived. We were done within an hour, that was quite unexpected. I can recommend this... More

Found the place in the Michelin book, and expected a bit more. Consistent quality with the dishes but the "wow"-effect was missing. Starter with Leberkäse was a bit different but would have needed slightly more innovation.

A tiny hidden gem of a restaurant thoroughly deserving it's Michelin Star. I had the Bouillon with bone marrow dumplings followed by excellent fish. The food is really upmarket Austrian putting a twist on the classics without being way-out or too experimental.

we celebrated my birthday on the last day of our stay in vienna in this restaurant and it was the best. first courses were excellent but the highlights of our dinner were the main courses: mine a devine fish and my husband's veal which he claims was one of the best he ever had. Though it is a little bit... More

We were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Everything about the restaurant was outstanding - from booking via an email ( with immediate response confirming booking), to being greeted by name on arrival at the restaurant to the food and wine. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was lovely. A... More

This totally unpretentious one Michelin Star restaurant is small, cozy and a friendly place. The food is very good and also the service. I ate a tasteful Vienner Schnitzel and my husband a steak. Don't miss the schnaps drink. It's a local eau de vie and the Mirabelle is very special. They offer a great variety of them. And the... More

Dinner for two, we came unannounced and early (19:00) -but you should probably make reservations. The restaurant offers the best service, wine recommendations were perfect and the food (chicken+lamb) was delightful. Great athmosphere as well. I will definitely go again!

Contrary to our expectation we were very disappointed with the food quality. The first course was a very oversalted green lettuce salad which we sent back as it was inedible, The replacement was only slightly less salty and there was no proper apology. The main course of duck breast was very ordinary and so were the accompaniments.
