Vienna, Austria's famous food is Schnitzel (pork/chicken escalope). And you can find the amazing schnitzel in this Restaurant. So if you're planning to visit Vienna. Don't miss to add this in your plan. Once you visit the Stephansplatz dropby but make sure to make a reservation online. 😍

Nice place to visit for a huge schnitzel. And see probably one of the longest restaurants. If you into liver, it is actually very-very good. Reservation is highly recommended.

We went here for our first meal in Vienna based on the recommendation of a native Austrian friend. It was really good! They were busy (line out the door, but we got to the front of the line in under 10 mins) so they sat us in the back next to the toilet and kitchen door. A waiter saw this... More

...the schnitzel was too dry and too thin. The waiter was one of the friendliest I've ever had, his name is Christian...its says so on the tab. It's large but somehow cozy.

This was fun! Be prepared to share a table - it gets very busy indeed. Menu is short - they simply do a few things & do them well. Glorious selection of local bread on the table. Soup is a good choice of starter, especially if you intend to order the pork schnitzel speciality that they're famous for - without... More

I would not say that's a "must-go" in Vienna but it's nice, characteristic ...and extremely popular: It’s always crowded! My wife and I we were very very lucky since we happen to arrive at the right moment… and we didn’t have to wait to get a table. Our waiter was extremely nice and "grateful" he said "Thank you" like a... More

Maybe I am spoiled, but I think Wienner Schnitzl can not be counted as a culinary specialty. To expensive for so simple meal. Atmosphere is like you are in a fast food restaurant. Waiter cant wait you to leave to accommodate another guest. Big disappointment for me!

Figlmuller is in our guide books as a favorite place to go, and it did not disappoint. The schnitzels are huge and good (my wife had one and shared with me), and I had the beef goulash so I could get the spaetzel with it. The house wines are the standard local varieties and reasonably priced. The main restaurant was... More

Don't worry that this is a tourist magnet - there's a good reason for the lines. Their traditional schnitzel is delicious, and since it's pretty much the only thing they serve, and have been doing it for a hundred years, the quality is excellent and the service is very quick. The trick is to arrive either before or after the... More
