There are two figlmuellers which are close to eachother. As there was a long waiting list at the old one, they told us to try the other one..schnitzel was too big, and we could only eat half of it, salad was quite good. Staff was not very friendly, but it was not a bad experience anyway..it is still one of... More

My friends have recommended this restaurant as the best place to try the Vienna speciality, the Schnitzel, so I have booked a table for lunch before our trip to Vienna. We arrived early, but it was no problem, we were seated immediately, although the place was full, as always. Our waiter, Christian was very friendly and polite, we have been... More

We visited this place for late lunch on Monday, and though we couldn't book a table in advance, the waiter told us to come back in 30min and upon our return gave us a table immediately. I must notice that we were the only lucky ones, during our lunch all other arriving visitors we told to try visiting their second... More

We had dinner here on our first night in Vienna based on reviews read on trip advisor. We are staying at hotel topazz which was 100metres in distance. They were pretty busy but after saying wait 5 minutes to us seated us and were very polite. My husband and I both ordered the weiner snitzel (veil) and roast potato, and... More

There was a line outside, but it didn't take as long as it seemed it would. You could share a schnitzel between two people if they aren't starving. You get bread and sides (salads, potatoes, etc) so come with an empty stomach! If I ever get the chance to go back to Vienna, definitely would come back to Figlmuller.

This place had a queue out the door with people wanting a table. It was easy to see why as they served up the best Wiener Schnitzel on offer, and it was the size of the plate it was served on! However - it could definitely benefit from a dessert menu. Definitely worth booking in advance though.

Very busy and popular restaurant. A booking is essential. People were being turned away due to reservations. Very large delicious schnitzels and lovely potatoe salad. Only one of us finished it all. No beers which we found unusual. We were told it is a wine house only. Thoroughly enjoyable.

We had this huge Wienerschnitzel with Potato salad and the traditional wine from the area (Veltlins). Great value and very tasty.

We tried to book table online but it was fully booked so we took a chance and turned up anyway. We were surprised to be told we could have a table in 25 minutes - we expected a much longer wait - so we waited in the wine bar opposite which was tiny but a nice place to have a... More

This place has been serving schnitzel for over 100 years. Have you done anything for that long? No? So, just relax and let them get on with it and it'll be great. I happened upon this place late on Friday night, 5 April, with 16 guys who were on a hockey road trip - everyone was served quickly and well... More
