No Vienna visit without Figlmueller!

Consistently good food. There are two restaurants, the one on Backerstrasse is less crowded. Take Figlmueller Schnitzel (it's huge, share one for two) with potato salad and you won't be disappointed.

We came here on a Sunday evening in March so were suprised to find it so busy. We aimed for the restaurant on the side street (both the same place but the little one looked like a nicer atmosphere from outside). That was completely full though so we went around to the bigger restaurant (just a few metres away). There... More

This restaurant is famous of viener schnitzel, that is way we visited. First impression was very crowded, but staff still friendly and fast as possible. Schnitzel was great with potato salad, I would be glad to get the same quality everywhere. Definiatelly recommend it.

We had made a booking and four of us were really looking forward to going. The waiters were rude because we arrived five minutes early. The food was below average very dry! How any one can eat a full schnitzel is surprising. They are large and tasteless. We would definitely not recommend anyone to waste their money here.

A very traditional restaurant in a small alley next to Stephansdom. The place for the traditional oversized wiener Schnitzel. The pork Schnitzel is just great and the potato salad is out of this world. The atmosphere is phenomenal and the service is excellent. Reservations are necessary to guarantee a table.

It is traditional in the Figlmüller way. We ordered the "usual" which most people are coming for - the BIG and thin schnitzel with potatosalat on the side. And it lived up to our expectations, it was good, still a bit juicy and big. And it is possible to get a doggybag if you can't eat it all at once... More

I visited Vienna with a couple of friends. I arrived a day early. I arrived at the Figmueller Thursday evening around 7pm. It was busy and there was a line. I did not have to wait long and I was happy to be seated. I was placed in the back, near the kitchen and the toilets. It was a cute... More

Had a lovely meal on the 14th March. Had the schnitzel which was very good, the best we have had, service good, no complaints at all. Good tip is to book in advance, long queus at prime times.

I have had schtzell with same taste in many other restaurants in vienn. It does not worth to make a reservation and wait every minutes up to the reservation time in front of the restaurant. Drink menu was very poor. Moreover, the waiter was very rude. I would not suggest.

We made a reservation, and we waited a couple of minutes until they gave us our table. Then we ordered, and everything was perfect, the food, the wine. I was a bit disappointed because they didn't have beer. But still it is really worth it.
