The schnitzel you get at Figlmueller is unforgettable. Big, tasty and of a quality you will not find outside Vienna. Be sure to book a table or you will have little chance of getting a table.

This is a typical traditional restaurant in Wien. It's also very popular and so also bit touristy. But the food is really good and the place nice! It worth a stop one day

Sept 26 Because there are two Figlmueller's and one is the original, I wanted to make sure we 6 were on the same page. We were and had a truly memorable lunch in a very old wooden booth that reminded me of cozy Tadich Grill in San Francisco. After doing my due diligence and getting a booking far in advance,... More

What a nice little restaurant! Tucked away in an alley behind St. Stephen's Catherdral. The restaurant is small, but the food is wonderful. I had the Weiner Schnitzel. It filled the entire plate. They don't serve dessert, but you won't need it after the meal. A schnapps tops it off nicely. The staff is very attentive and they have a... More

This place is pretty touristy, with a line out the door, but the schnitzel really was quite large and good. The meat is very good quality and the breading was crisp and tasty. The service was ok; servers were nice and spoke English and I didn't have to wait too long for a seat. Unfortunately, the seat I got was... More

Though touristy and busy with a high turnover they manage to maintain great atmosphere....We tried both the veal and the pork schnitzels - both were great. However, i must note the pork schnitzel was not significantly different to some of the others we had. The sides were also great - potato salad, mashed roar potatoes and the salad... Very generous... This place is famous for their schnitzel and I can see why! The schnitzel hangs off the side of your plate and is probably the best schnitzel I have tasted in my life. We went at around 1 and had to line up for about 15 minutes because it was that busy, so it is best to book ahead if... More

Figlemuellers is "one of a kind" (even though it has two locations). It is crowded all the time. It is worth the wait. It is a bit "touristy" but don't let that stop you. The menu is not that long, but most folks get their specialty - their weiner schnitzel. It is HUGH. It not only covers the entire plate,... More

We arrived at a really busy time with no free tables in sight and were told that a table would be available in 15 minutes. After we came back, a free table magically appeared and we were seated. While it was still very busy, people were finishing up their meals and the restaurant was preparing for the second intake of... More
