Great schnitzel & a very good location. We were there several times and food never let to desire. It's best to have a reservation. If not, take in account to wait in line for a few minutes to get a table. Usually the staff is friendly.

After being knocked back on a Friday night on walking in, we made a reservation for the following night. Later that Friday night however we were warned not to go to Figlmueller by several locals because its Wienier Schnitzel was not authentic (made with pork, not traditional veal), it was too heavy and touristy. We were apprehensive but decided to... More

Visiting Vienna and missing this restaurant would be a vital error. This is the place to get to know what a real Wiener Schnitzel is. Soft, thin and crispy piece of high quality gold breaded veal or pork. In combination with Austrian potato salad you simply get one of the most delicious meals in Vienna. In order to get the... More

This is an absolute MUST visit when in Vienna! The famous schnitzel I'm sure is great, but as a vegetarian I did not expect there to be such a great selection! The "cheese schnitzel" is a great choice for vegetarians, and make sure to have their amazing potato salad! Make sure to use their very convenient online reservation system!

After trying a dozen of schnitzels in Vienna, can tell you this is the best. We went with classic schnitzel.. Perfect potato salad with styrian pumpkin seed oil. Exceptional Gruner Veltliner to accompany the meal. I am so happy that I made this reservation. Highly recommend to everyone who has interest in schnitzels. Accommodating service and excellent quality meal.

An absolute "must" when you visit Vienna! But don't forget to make your reservation! This restaurant is incredibly busy and crowded! You can eat cheaper in Vienna, but not as good as in Figlmüller! The Schnitzel is huge indeed and the smashed potato salad is amazing! If you'll visit the restaurant spontaneously, you won't have a chance to crab a... More

We had no booking ( seems like a god idea in summer) but were able to be seated at a large table with another couple. The famous schnitzel was so large it draped over a dinner plate! Don't eat for the day before coming here !! We had side orders of potato salad (amazing creamy /mustardy flavour) and roast potatoes... More

One of the must do things when in Vienna is to try a huge schnitzel that dwarfs the plate it is served on. Have it with some potato salad and some nice white Austrian wine. Do book a table before you travel to avoid disappointment. This restaurant is not too large and very popular. We used to go to a... More

This restaurant should be the obligatory point for someone who loves to eat and wants to try original Wiener Schnitzel. Although it is quite possible that You will have to wait for the table, it is really worth to try their Wiener Schnitzel and feel the atmosphere of this old and traditional restaurant.
