Small amounts of food served in silver plates at exorbitant prices. This Indian restaurant is very suitable if you have lots of money to waste. If you want Indian food of similar or better quality with no frills service, take the tram D few stops down to Wien Hauptbahnhof, and order food from the Indian store Chutney. They serve excellent... Nice food with less quantity and high price. One of the item I ordered was Paneer tikka which was around 12 euros but when it came, it only had 6 small pieces of paneer with salad around it. Good taste but not true value of money

I have to tell, it's not my first visit in an Indian restaurant, so I can't miss comparing them. The restaurant is nice and cozy, friendly like an Indian family's home or so, with good nice original ornaments. The seats are lovely. The waiter and waitress are nice too. The only reason I can't give five stars is: the curry... More

I went to this Demi Tass after a long time, nearly 8 years when I first visited Vienna. While it is becoming more and more famous among the Austrians and international guests, it is now closer to other Indian venues. The restaurant is few minutes from the city center if you take the trame or appr. 20 minutes walk. The... More

As it was a hot summer night in Vienna we decided on dinner at Demi Tas as we know their great aircondition. But not only airco is perfect, service and food are more than that. After trying their entire menue I decided it's time again for their famous Chicken Tikka Masala. I am a Tikka Masala addict and try it... More

Excellent food here. It is not the usual case with the Indian restaurants that food is good in all respect. In Demi Tass we were very pleased to dine and the currys were so good that we had to clean up the dishes with tasty nans. The service was friendly and professional.

I was skeptical of the great reviews. However, this was really the best Indian restaurant I have been to for years. And I go often - practically on every trip anywhere and several times a month. The food was very tasty and our request to make it very hot was attended to much better than most Indian. The basmati was... More

My family and I went to this restaurant for a dinner based on suggestions from locals as well as trip advisor rating. We were ver sorry we went there at all, Nothing was good about this place, I my opinion. The ambiance was overbearing. The service was slow and inattentive. The food was below average at best and did not... More

Again and again we come back to Demi Tass, simply the best Indian restaurant in Vienna. Starting with the cosy atmosphere of just 8 tables and the personal service by the owners. The food is the best indian food we know and we try Indian restaurants wherever we are. Never found something comparable. Tipps: try the Chicken Tikka Masala, truly... More
