SO GOOD CURRY THAT WE HAD TO CLEAN UP THE DISHES WITH THE NANS

Excellent food here. It is not the usual case with the Indian restaurants that food is good in all respect. In Demi Tass we were very pleased to dine and the currys were so good that we had to clean up the dishes with tasty nans. The service was friendly and professional.

I was skeptical of the great reviews. However, this was really the best Indian restaurant I have been to for years. And I go often - practically on every trip anywhere and several times a month. The food was very tasty and our request to make it very hot was attended to much better than most Indian. The basmati was... More

My family and I went to this restaurant for a dinner based on suggestions from locals as well as trip advisor rating. We were ver sorry we went there at all, Nothing was good about this place, I my opinion. The ambiance was overbearing. The service was slow and inattentive. The food was below average at best and did not... More

Again and again we come back to Demi Tass, simply the best Indian restaurant in Vienna. Starting with the cosy atmosphere of just 8 tables and the personal service by the owners. The food is the best indian food we know and we try Indian restaurants wherever we are. Never found something comparable. Tipps: try the Chicken Tikka Masala, truly... More

I travel quite frequently all over Europe and went to Demi Tass with my family for the first time where I was pleasantly surprised as it was just outstanding. Having been to several disappointing Indian restaurants before, it was great to experience Demi Tass. The restaurant is quite small but neat and clean. The food was well prepared and cooked... More

Being a resident of Enland, I had to travel to Vienna for an official meeting. My wife who has travelled To Vienna before, had told me that there is not a single good restaurant in Vienna, so I should better go on having Austrian food. Well I had to work hard to look in to internet, and gave a try... More

So glad that we trusted the advice of some friends while selecting the Indian restaurant dring our first visit to the beautiful city of Vienna. Demi Tass is in a good location and near to the city centre (better to go by D-tram) but you need to know about it. We staggered into the pleasantly warm restaurant as it was... More

Walked for 20 minutes to reach the so-called beat restaurant in Vienna and regretted it the moment I stepped in. The restaurant owner was very umwelcoming and rude. She refused to let us in as they were full. I admit that her reason was right but her attitude was not. Then we asked her for parcel. She then refused to... More

Cozy ambience and nice waiter do not make up for the below average but pricy food. We have had better Indian food in Vienna.

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market.
