Again a wonderful evening at Demi Tass. Greeted warmly by the owner lady and having our favourite table next to the window. Lamb and chicken Tikka as starters, served on salad beds. Then Chicken Tikka Masala, which are truly the best we know. Wherever we go we have indian food, but here its just the best. Ordered Naans and Pilaw... More

We visited this place on the last night in Vienna, based in reviews on TripAdvisor. What a disappointing experience. Food was far from authentic, in fact I think the traditional Indian recipes have long been forgotten. I had a chicken vindaloo which was more spiced with turmeric and ginger, than anything I have tasted in India. The Naan, the most... More

Starved for Indian food during our recent visit to Europe, we happened to visit this restaurant as it was in close proximity to our Hotel. The food was yummy with authentic Indian Flavor. Good Ambience with Excellent Service.

We ate lunch there after visiting the Belvedere Palace (housing Munck works) next door. It is a little "upmarket" but the lunch special advertised in the window is very good value. We find German/Austrian etc food very bland and this was an excellent change and find as good Indian restaurants aren't always that easy to find.

While visiting Vienna, we had a chance to have Indian dinner for a change. We have been to few Indian restaurants before but this was really a wonderful experience with genuine Indian food . Although the restaurant is quite small but it offers authentic Indian dishes. We tried different items, starting with home-made bread filled with spinach and Mango soup... More

Being the head of a Japanese firm, I recently transfered to Vienna from London, where my fovourite restaurant for Indian Dinner used to be, "Vera Swami". After a long search and many recommendations, I visited last night the Indian restaurant Demi Tass for a very special Business Dinner. I must say, I was very much impressed. Though the restaurant is... More

Such a thrill to find out they sold beef curry, hailing from Alberta, it's great to be at an east indian serving beef. Food was great and quaint surroundings, very authentic and intimate.

When our host heard we were looking for a decent Indian restaurant in Vienna he had no recommendations so we relied on trip advisor to find us one near our hotel. We weren't disappointed. A small family run restaurant with good food. We received a very warm welcome, in English and our host was able to advise on menu and... More

We decided to have our New Years dinner at Demi Tass. When we arrived our table was perfectly prepared as always. Due to New Year there was a smaller menue than usually, but we learned immediately, that we can get our favourite dish Chicken Tikka Masala, although it was not on the menue. We started with Mango Champagne, then spicy... More
