Very pleasant surroundings in the city center near the Stephansdom. The food is authentic Italian. I was there last week. The pasta with truffles was a dream... and so was the oven roasted rack of lamb with rosemary and sage, A very good wine cellar which includes also the own Antinori wines is also available. Strongly recommended

Suggested by Concierge at hotel. Pleasant little place waiter a bit condescending. Everything was very fresh and well prepared but just not top of the heap. Going to try the one in Florence to see what home base is like. Have had better.

Stumbled onto this Italian establishment in the heart of Vienna. If you have maxed out on local food and on Steak and Burgers, this place is a don't miss. Good wine list, attentive service, fair prices for high quality food. Wish we had time to come back for dinner!

We arrived for a late dinner and were greeted warmly. The pizza was just what we wanted and the very small wine list has nice choices. Before we left, the owner offered us a drink and we received a very friendly goodbye. We would go again the next time we're in Vienna!

Delicious Tuscan food served with a friendly and professional service. Suited in a quite street near the Stephansdom, with a clean and beautiful terrace. They serve wine from their own vineyard. Try the Risotto with zucchini and prawns.

Cantinetta Antinori Restaurant Jasomirgottstr 3-5 1010, Wien . To know and appreciate their way of life thru food, you challenged yourself to try outside your comfort zone. We tried different eateries of Viennese and German cuisine. Moreover, now it is time to switch something familiar, Italian cooking. One such restaurant that we found is Cantinetta Antinori. It has introduced the... More

I know this restaurant since almost 27 years, that was when it just had opened. I had several business dinners there, since i lived in Vienna at the time. It was then one of the best Italian restaurants in Vienna with an absolutely excellent choice of Italian wine of the finest quality (Antinori region wines, Tignatello red wine for example...).... A small, intimate Italian restaurant serving wonderful food in the heart of Vienna. Attentive service without being pushy. A nice variety of food on the menu including daily specials. These folks know how to prepare and serve your meal. Any request was "of course". A great wine list too; try an Austrian Gruner Veltliner. Probably the first restaurant I would... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
