Make a reservation! The service we had was outstanding, food was great and the wine excellent. Centrally located near St Stephens Cathedral. The waiter was extremely knowledgable about wines and suggested great pairings during each course! Wonderful

This is a restaurant you can also find in other cities and this one in Vienna was a great surprise. Starting with Muste the friendly waiter. The ambience is unpretentious, like the restaurant. They just offer good food and service. I recommend the rack of lamb and the fetuccini with white truffles. Don't miss the panacotta as desert. We also... More

The summary is above but I should say that even when I almost never feel welcome, when the service is so so, and when the price is significantly above the average, I am for years a returning guest.

Discovered this place 3 years ago. Still remember their lamb chops of back then as perhaps the best I ever had. Second time, two years ago - no more lamb in menu, still good atmosphere. This year visited early in January and were fairly disappointed. Menu is not really impressive, prices are. "Pasta with veal sauce" was an average bolonese... More

We enjoyed a good Italian meal in an intimate setting. Tucked away on a side street near the cathedral, we were able to eat outside. Good service, friendly waiters. Nice wine list, we wimped out and chose a good Antinori red.

It's not often that you get rock star Italian outside of Italy but this Florentine steak, the service, the wine, and every other thing was just perfect. Location is awesome right in front of st stephan so an evening stroll after the finest meal is convenient. In in florence all the time and the antinori family truly brought florence to... More

We had a family dinner here after a reservation (a months ago). The table selected for us was not something special and was located in the furthest room inside the restaurant. The plates we selected were delicious but the quantities were quiet small. Our waiter was helpful. The wine we selected was full of aromas. The atmosphere of the restaurant... More

This was our second night in Vienna and we were so delighted with our cousins selection for dinner this evening. The Italian cuisine at Cantinetta Antinori was delicious. Most of all I enjoyed the variety of desserts, the Tiramisu was amazing, I didn't get to enjoy the Creme Brûlée since it was so popular that everyone else at the table... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
