very good for a very long time

I know this restaurant since almost 27 years, that was when it just had opened. I had several business dinners there, since i lived in Vienna at the time. It was then one of the best Italian restaurants in Vienna with an absolutely excellent choice of Italian wine of the finest quality (Antinori... read more

Delicious Tuscan food served with a friendly and professional service. Suited in a quite street near the Stephansdom, with a clean and beautiful terrace. They serve wine from their own vineyard. Try the Risotto with zucchini and prawns.

Cantinetta Antinori Restaurant Jasomirgottstr 3-5 1010, Wien . To know and appreciate their way of life thru food, you challenged yourself to try outside your comfort zone. We tried different eateries of Viennese and German cuisine. Moreover, now it is time to switch something familiar, Italian cooking. One such restaurant that we found is Cantinetta Antinori. It has introduced the... More

A small, intimate Italian restaurant serving wonderful food in the heart of Vienna. Attentive service without being pushy. A nice variety of food on the menu including daily specials. These folks know how to prepare and serve your meal. Any request was "of course". A great wine list too; try an Austrian Gruner Veltliner. Probably the first restaurant I would... More

I always make a point of dining at Antinori on the all-to-infrequent trip I get to make to Vienna, as this latest experience did not disappoint. The restaurant is located very close to the Stephansdom and so its a great choice as part of a trip into the old town. The menu is fairly comprehensive, obviously very Italian and very... More

We were there: it was not crowded, actually it was empty. At first I thought it was not a good place, then I realised it was not good time for lunch. Service was great, food was tasty: what else do you expect from the restaurant? Location is also very good. Prices are regular (high). I liked it. Nothing to complain:... More

A pleasant Italian atmosphere in the center of Vienna. Great Italian food with very good wines. Professional staff. They found us a place, even though we did not have a reservation.

We were in Vienna 4 days and ate lunch here 3 out of the 4 days. Very nice staff, food was delicious and I am particular about Italian food! They have a truffle pasta with truffle shavings on top which is to die for! A must! I don't eat meat but my husband really enjoyed the antipasto plate . We... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
