Fabios is a hot spot in Vienna for trendy people with it's Bar and Restaurant combination. Food is italian mediterran and excellent, wine list shows a good selection of nice bottles - the prices (EUR 15.- for starters, EUR 20.- for primi, EUR 30.- for main and EUR 10.- for dessert; wine starts EUR 27.- for a bottle) to be... Recommended by friends as top notch restaurant. Staff is below average for the prices paid and there was no presentation on the plates from the kitchen. I ordered the gnocchi with green beans and it was served in a huge bowl, no garnish and as green as chlorophyll... Turn out the lights green! Another guest at the table ordered the... More

Beautiful Italian food with a delicate classy touch. Pasta to die for: a pork fillet as good as anything that Heston Blumenthal can conjure up ( and that's the best ! ). Beautiful matched wines: and Austrian wine is superb. Had lunch here and it was so good, we came back the next night for dinner! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I was in Fabios on several occasions, food selection is well within the average, nothing special about it... Bar is cool, there are plenty of cocktails to choose from and are good in quality. The worst part about this restaurant is staff, it seems that developing attitudes is part of their training. The manager of the restaurant is the rudest... More

It was amazing as usual. The food is great, the service perfect, the location and design beutifull. This time it was the octopus carpaccio and asparagus risotto. The only problem was that it could not last for ever.

A very nice designed restaurant & Bar! Very nice food! Kind and friendly staff, nice atmosphere! Ideal for Apéro, Lunch, Diner or just to meet friends... perfect for all situations! The warm wooden interior creates the atmosphere I appreciate so much! The way the windows open gives you the feeling of sitting on a terrace while being inside! Very well... More

The restaurant is perfect, the location is perfect, the food is perfect….but….the manager (short guy with glasses) is the rudest guy ever. It was not a one time thing, everytime we came there he treat us as s..t, even thou we spend a lot of money in the restaurant. Shame on him. He ruined it all...

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
