A refreshing break from boring Viennese

Fabios is a very lively, place to be seen restaurant in the Vienna centre. Frequented by foreign and local alike. A bit pricey but refreshing and the food is very good. Waiters get distracted by high end NYC bankers..it was my daughters birthday...no one mentioned it even after several... read more

Terrible bar service. Place was understaffed and waitresses overwhelmed by the number of clients. We have been seated at a table by one of them and shortly after asked to leave because allegedly already reserved. More than thirty minutes to have a drink.

It is a beautifull restaurant very trendy with a great service. We have really enjoyed the dinner. Even if it is not for kids we have had such a beautifull family dinner. Absolutly recommended.

Modern upscale restaurant and bar Well dressed sophisticated clientele Good food good but not great Service was professional however not overly friendly. We were not familiar with a charge on our bill. Our server told us it was a charge to sit at the table and because we were using the tablecloth and nice silverware etc. We have traveled extensively... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
