Tasty but don't expect good service

We stopped here for cake as you do in Vienna twice, the cake was excellent, good portions, fresh and tasty. Where the cafe lets itself down is with its service. Whilst this isn't only an issue with this location you are made to feel bad because you can't speak German and it also seemed as if you... read more

Our first morning tea in Vienna was not so good. Room very nice & decor modern and sleek . GreAt position near Danube canal and s Bahn . But coffees were only just warm and my sandwich was made on hard old bread. 😕 And the staff expected a tip! Not recommend .

We visited the Schwedenplatz branch and enjoyed our visit. Usually I steer clear of places where there are photos of the food but this place was fine. I had the prawn/avocado salad and it was good. A little too much dressing for me but I forgot to ask for it without. Prices are reasonable. This is quite a big place... More

We ordered veal Wiener schnizel which comes with potato salad, twice and a sausage main course. All, including the drinks, were served reasonably quickly, though sternly and without charm. For dessert, so many ice cream dishes to select from, I chose the hazelnut confection. It did not resemble the photo, which indicated heaps of spaghetti-cut ice cream in compatible flavours... More

Magnifico Schnitzel to die for and ice cream presented as spaghetti twists!! What's not to like? Excellent menu; good location alongside the ferry boat quay and polite, attentive staff. A real winner. Worth catching a boat from Bratislava for!!! Sensible prices too makes this an irresistible combination 11/10

Nice small gelato shop tucked into the street. The staff was very personable. There is a good variety of flavors, and the quality and taste were quite good. Great place to grab some gelato and stroll the neighborhood.

You will find them all over Vienna. We’ve been there a couple of times, while touring the Bermuda Dreieck (Schwedenplatz) and Stephansplatz. Service was a bit slow – maybe for being in very busy areas – but food is delicious and not too pricey (despite located near tourist spots). Good place for breakfast and lunch. Desserts are amazing and creative.

So glad we decided to sit and relax here after an extensive walk around the city. Large seating area outside the restaurant and ice cream parlour with good shades to protect you from the hot Vienna sun. The salads were brilliant and as for the ice cream - we didn't know which to pick from the menu. We went back... More

Located about 300m from our hotel, we decided (first night) to give it a shot! So glad we did. The menu was extensive, the desserts to die for, the service impeccable and the price excellent. Decor very simple and it can be cramped when busy, but not negatives to change my assessment. On both occasions that we dined here the... More

Came in for a quick glass of wine. Waited 10 mins and had to hunt for a server. One server told me she couldn't help me that the other guy would . Well, she walked right by him without even telling him he had a customer waiting. Ice cream did look great but unfortunately I didn't have another 20 mins... More
