Excellent Vegan Food and Great Decor

The food was great and the place looks like it is unreal. The decorations are wonderful and the place makes you feel like you are in another world. We got to know about it from our concierge. Booked for lunch. Quite easy to locate and reach. Food was awesome. Three course cost €35 pp and the dishes were absolutely amazing. Quite well worth it if you are into taste experiment and trust your taste buds without bias. Decor is great, service and courteous, some of these guys who... More

It's not written here, but the place is so expensive, that when we saw the menu we started sweating... The food was good, but it came in a small courses. The service was great, everybody was so nice, helpful and pleasant. The place is also nice and comfortable. In short - if you're hungry, it isn't the place, but if... More

My friends and I went to this restaurant in order to have a nice meal however the foods quality was not anything that deserved such high prices. This restaurant is as expensive as it is for no apparent reason. The food was subpar at best and the staff wasn't overly welcoming either.

I got what I was looking for, a good experience - I challenged them on an 8 course dinner. The dishes were innovative and trying hard, and partially they delivered. I have to admit I have high expectations and the wow-factor was missed by a close margin. I would say Tian is a good place to visit to get a... More

I have visited Vienna several times on business and my last visited coincided with my birthday. I decided to spoil myself by visiting Tian, I have been vegetarian for many years but have never eaten at a totally vegetarian Michelin starred restaurant before. (I don't know if there are any others!) I was not disappointed. The service was exceptional -... More

We were having lunch at around 2pm - what we've experienced was simply immaculate - high end vegetarian cuisine with perfect service - highly recommendable.

We walked into Tian by chance, just because we liked the "look" of it - and we enjoyed one of the most amazing restaurant experiences in many years. This is an extraordinary restaurant, you almost wouldn't notice it is vegetarian. Vegetables are amazingly fresh and well-combined (--> Tardivo Trevisano salad), dishes full of flavours (try, if available: Cime de Rappa... More

Tian was outstanding. Vegetarian restaurants can be so samey, but everything I tasted (which was 9 courses!) was original and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. I have nothing more to say - except that I'm glad I wasn't paying the bill... ;-)

Was given a gift card for Tian as a christmas present for my boyfriend and I. I was very excited to experience an all vegetarian restaurant and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere, staff and food was all amazing. The waiter was unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients as well as very friendly and welcoming! Coming from... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
