Food exquisite, service ok.

Starting with the good: the food is amazing! You cannot believe what they serve meat-free. Tasteful vegetarian food is what you get. And the plates are a true piece of art. The service is highly professional and attentive. The sommelier chose two nice bottles of wine, although he should be reminded... read more

I was blown away by the delicious creations I got to try out at Tian. The service was good and the wine was excellent, but most of all, the food was just perfect. I'm not a vegetarian and I didn't think about how meat would go with the meal once. I can recommend Tian to everyone, vegetarion or not!!

Warm welcome by friendly service team. Had a wonderful vegetarian lunch with my daughter where we enjoyed three superb courses (cf. pictures posted) with a nice glass of sauvignon blanc recommended by knowledgeable staff. With water, coffee and wine the bill was below 100 euros, which I consider top value for one of the best vegetarian (Michelin starred) meals we... More

We got here by accident. Just looking for a good restaurant not far from our hotel. Didn’t regret it. Never been in a vegetarian restaurant with a star. We didn't miss the meat at all! Staff was very friendly an explained everything in English for us as we don’t speak German. If you take the lunch menu it isn’t expensive... More

Went to Tian for Dinner post the Opera. Even though the kitchen was being shut in 15 mins, they gave us a table and we had one of the best vegetarian meals ever. The food was flavourful and made from the freshest of ingredients. Even simple everyday vegetables like potatoes & beetroot were served in an eye catching manner and... More

I ate at Tian in October (sorry for the late review) and have not stopped thinking about it for the past 7 months. Elegant setting, mind-blowing food that changes with every bite, and superb wines by the glass at reasonable prices. Easily one of the top 5 meals of my life. Every bit as refined as Daniel, Le Jules Verne,... More

This restaurant is an artistic experience worth every Euro spent. My husband, a hard core carnivore, and I, a lifelong vegetarian, both walked away satisfied and smiling. We've never eaten anything like the amazing mix of flavors and textures. Plus in addition to the four courses we ordered there were all kinds of extras offered between courses. Highly recommend this... More

The food was great and the place looks like it is unreal. The decorations are wonderful and the place makes you feel like you are in another world. The waiters were very kind and they also let us take photos of the place. The food was served in a very original way. It is a great place for Vegans and... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
