Great little place!

This was recommended by a local and did not disappoint! If you want great, reasonably priced Viet food then you can't go wrong here. The vegetarian spring rolls in particular were just pure heaven - the best spring rolls I've ever tasted! One thing to bear in mind though is that they only... read more

I had summer rolls with chicken and the beef pho. Both, especially the pho, were delicious. The place has a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.

Average vietnamese cuisine. Rude service, was kept waiting for ages by the waitresses who seemed understaffed and overworked. They refused me ice with my drink and lemon with my food. Not once did they smile or look welcoming.

The restaurant looks quite nice and the customer service was pretty good. I ordered the pho which already came with all the herbs added to it which I didn't care for much. The selection was limited compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in Vienna, but the price was rather decent. All in all, not bad.

Just trying to have something a bit more exotic I came across this restaurant. Nice staff and menu in English. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the food in the slightest, everything was very vinegar based! Overpriced for what's on offer

We were very disappointed with the quality of the food we received here. Our starters were OK, however our main courses were of very low quality and poor taste. The food was also expensive.

€12 for a pho is a excessive; and you cannot pay with a credit card. Don't get me wrong, it is a pretty good restaurant, but it really pisses me off food businesses in Vienna not being accountable and transparent by only taking cash and not even giving receipts. It is also pricey.

At "by Chi" the menu is in english too, which is rare in Vienna. We (2 ppl) ate rolls with beef and vegetables and two main courses with meet, vegetables and noodles, one with boiled/steamed noodles, one with fried noodles. Very tasty and something different! Would definitely go again. Paid 40 euros with tip included for the food and 2... More

I came here for a lunch with my wife and parents and having eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants all over the world thought the food here was of a very good quality and probably ranks towards the top end of Vietnamese restaurants in Vienna. The range of meals on offer is wide and particularly the Pho soups was among the... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
