Original gelati served from an original looking shop

Genuine Artisan gelati from a team that know their craft. The yoghurt and honey flavoured Gelati was freshly made and had a very good texture. This team deserves their reputation for great gelati.

Ice creams were untasty. They have really very syntethic tastes. I could not undestand why the people advice here.

Saw a lot of people on the street eating an ice cream, and then saw a long queue. Decided to join the herd - not sure of the result :). In the end, it was completely worth it - great taste, texture and cone.

I cannot believe that I went to three (3!) ice cream shops in one day. This was the 2nd one and I'd already eaten 2 scoops at another place. Flavors were intense and delicious, I tasted Apricot--delicious but grainy, so I bought a scoop of chocolate because chocolate tends to be smooth and creamy with the added cocoa fat. I... More

After hearing about this place on a couple of forums we decided to visit. And it was a great experience. When you walk in you are presented with around 15 different ice cream flavors, and even though I couldn't read a single label the people behind the counter were very helpful. With no rush at all they offered me trials... More

Having sat at the bar next door a couple of times and watched the crowds queue for this place I thought it was well positioned for business. But listening to the locals - who all love their ice creams I realised the popularity was due to the quality of the product so we tried one and then another again and... More

This was seriously the best gelato I've had in Vienna! The chocolate and butter biscuit flavours are divine. There may be a queue but it moves really fast so don't be turned away by it! It's worth the (not very long) wait.

The only time I had ever seen up to 20 people standing in line in front of an ice cream parlor was when Ben & Jerry's handed out ice cream for free. In this case Greissler is simply offering the best ice cream ever! They use local products and do not add any artificial flavors. AND: 6 different types for... More
