Great experience from start to finish

Having sat at the bar next door a couple of times and watched the crowds queue for this place I thought it was well positioned for business. But listening to the locals - who all love their ice creams I realised the popularity was due to the quality of the product so we tried one and then another again and... More

This was seriously the best gelato I've had in Vienna! The chocolate and butter biscuit flavours are divine. There may be a queue but it moves really fast so don't be turned away by it! It's worth the (not very long) wait.

The only time I had ever seen up to 20 people standing in line in front of an ice cream parlor was when Ben & Jerry's handed out ice cream for free. In this case Greissler is simply offering the best ice cream ever! They use local products and do not add any artificial flavors. AND: 6 different types for... More

Well the selling point for this ice cream is that it's BIO and the milk comes from happy cows??? Happy cows?? Are these the ones that are not visting the local doctor for their monthly prescription ?? How do you come to that conclusion?? Well as far as the ice cream goes, below average really, was a disappointment after all... More

This ice-cream parlour was praised to the sky as the most hip place in Vienna to eat organically made ice-cream. Apparently here everything is made from organically certified ingredients and is the place where many vegan customers would head, proven by the long queue outside the parlour. When we tried the various flavours, it was just okay, but nothing like... More

I remember reading somewhere that the ice cream is locally sourced and organic, and you can taste that quality in it. The flavors are pretty unique -- I had an apple mint flavor that was delightful. A friend who lives in Vienna raves about the pear flavor. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Innere Stadt!

Absoultey love the vanilla, best vanilla ever no exaggeration. Rest of the flavors like Strawberry and Chocolate etc are also very good, but just the vanilla oh wow. The prices are fair but the queues are quite massive which is the only downside to this place I suppose.
