if you are looking for a straightforward, not fancy, traditional pizzeria, than you have come to the right place. the oven is wood fired, the pizzaiolos all know their job and the service is efficient and friendly. it's not a small place, and at lunch time things can get a little hectic, so maybe it's not a bad idea to... We stumbled in here late after a night at the theater. The service was prompt and accommodating for our kids wishes. The waiter even remade my sons spaghetti after he originally served it with red sauce that he did not want. My friends beer was large and cold and our wine good. The kids loved the pizza and everyone was... More

This is a very nice Italian restaurant in the city center, only a few minutes away from Stephansplatz. The specialities are of course pizzas that we tried ;delicious! This is a good place to go for a romantic lunch or dinner. The waitress was very friendly and we really enjoyed our meal there. The prices are not too high, great... More

I have never written a rewiew of this kind before but this time I just can't leave it undone. I attended this restaurant with my family to have a nice dinner in good atmosphere. Little did we know that the waitress would turn it into probably our worst restaurant experience ever. Rude, almost furious taking of orders, food and drinks... More

Quiet place with good food and prices. The pizza was surprisingly good for the restaurant in the center of the city. Tho it not the fastest with the speed of service it worth it's money. I recommend for all pizza lovers.

We (4 tourists) picked this restaurant for its attractive appearance and convenient location to a theatre we were about to visit. Inside, the surroundings were pleasant and typically Italian, the menu looked good and although the sign clearly stated 'No Credit Cards', we decided to go in. We felt the waitress had a rather brusque manner but, well, never mind.... More

Pizza for late dinning ... Little more. We went after a concert without having made dinner plans. We were happy to find a place that we could dine at 2200 hours despite being saturday night. A large menu is not too appealing and the place was quite desserted (was late ... true). Service was average even with a 20% occupancy.... More

But it was the best pizza I have ever had, and I am 70, and have eaten a ton of Chicago and New York pizza. A simple thin pizza, topped with prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, Rocket, and shaved parmesan. Molto bene. Many other great looking pizza's also on menu. Would not hesitate to return for dinner, but our time in Wien... More

After a few average choices in Vienna, it was a pleaseant surprise! Gorgonzola gnocci with spinach sauce were exquisite! Great caprese salad and carpaccio di manzo delicious too. We went the next day again and food was as great. The tiramisu was delicious and huge!

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
