The restaurant has excellent tapas and very good food. In particular fish and meat can be reommended. Prices are moderate, the service might be sometimes a little bit more aware of the customers, but this has significantly improved during the last 4 months. Nice location and outdoor seating in summer. Recommended also for a (nearly) daily visit for lunch.

This is a lovely Spanish restaurant in Vienna's "Bezirk 4" (4th district) off Favoritenstrasse where everything is great: the food, the service and the price. Try the starters - they come in small but fair portions with a touch of sophistication you seldom find in a Spanish restaurant. All dishes are delicious, creative and cooked to perfection!

Was recommended Manzana by our hotel. Atmosphere was excellent, service professional and often lacking in Austria was friendly and helpful. Food was freshly prepared and delicious. Wish we had discovered this little gem earlier in our vacation.

Brilliant steaks, cooked exactly as requested. Best steaks we had were in New York but this came a very close second.

This is a little off the beaten track and did a reasonable set lunch menu. The soup (mushroom and dill) was excellent. I didnt find it anything special but it was full of people who were having lunch and later locals just popping in for coffee. Good value for money and its not expensive at all.

Although food is tasty and there's a good variety of it, with nice presented Spanish and Austrian specialities, the service has to improve a lot. Maybe there are not thinking of how much value costumers give to that. The waitress after a few mistakes in noting the choices and bringing stuff, at the "zahlen" time pointed openly to the tip... The restaurant is simple and food is not bad, but the waitress had no personality and when it came to paying, informed me that no credit cards accepted and sent me to a bank down the road! Most good restaurants accept credit cards in Vienna these days. This restaurant is evidently still trying to save the fees they have to... More

Manzana is located off the Naschmarkt in what must have been formerly shop premises. We liked the cool design with simple black oak tables and he high brick ceiling . We had a simple, freshly cooked authentic meal. My husband and I ordered pimientos de padron ( one order for two is plenty) and then had grilled squid. Both dishes... More

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
