Excellent beer and hearty food.

Went here for lunch and dinner on two separate weekdays. We had the goulash for lunch, which was supposed to be a smaller serving, but turned out to be quite large. For dinner, we had schnitzels, which were fine, but it's really the beer that's the main attraction here. The Dark Prague did its job... read more

Located in a delightful district of West Vienna, this pub/restaurant can safely be recommended to any beer-lover. All the beers are brewed on the premises and if the two sampled are anything to go by they will be delicious. We arrived on a Wednesday evening around 7.00 and the place was packed but although we hadn't booked we were found... More

It is off the tourist track but worth tracking down. We arrived with no reservation, so the barman removed a reservation label from another table and let is in. The service was good. The food was large (a small schnitzel could have fed us both). The beer was excellent, best we had all trip.

Big group, small group, always outstanding service, time and accuracy of the request, good beers and various food that go along very well and in adequate quality and price, recommended.

This place is about the beer really although the food was good too. A good old brew pub with a wide selection of beers to suit any taste. I recommend the IPA and the dunkel. The rauchbeer was good but not the best 'smoked' beer I've had. Food-wise it was fine - we got a table quickly, ate schnitzel (it was... More

It was really busy on a Saturday night but the service was efficient and friendly. Great choices for beer. The food is reasonably priced but I guess pretty basic. Nonetheless, an enjoyable experience if you are in the area.

The atmosphere was great and relaxed, the restaurant was interesting and big. The food was good, the beer special. The chilly beer is only for brave men, is very very spicy. Other beers are good.

It was only by accident that we found Stern 7 on our previous visit to Vienna some 6 years ago. We were impressed then and it is more than pleasing that nothing has changed in the intervening years. The quality of the food and for a beer lover are fist rate and also offering at the same time exceptional value... More

Main reason to go there is the brewery, I guess. There are several 7 Stern beers available, with detailed explanation in the menu and with staff happy to give you additional details on each of them. Went well with pork ribs: huge portion, well cooked. Main course and 2 beers for ~20€ per person. Nice athmosphere, noisy as a brewery... More
