Absolutely Fantastic Food!

I've been living in Vienna for 8 years now and have visited every Thai restaurant that I have found - which aren't that many in Vienna. Bangkok is by far the best food. The place is warm with cosy atmosphere although it's not exactly a quiet place. Staff is efficient and somewhat friendly (I'd... read more

Bangkok dinner was exceptional !! Service was attentive and caring. The food was amazing and huge portions as well. Their Pad Thai is something special. Really loved our evening here. Even had a nice surprise from them after dinner ! Prices are very reasonable too ! Highly recommended.

Food selection is not that wide but every dish on the menu is delicious. Quite a busy restaurant for romantic evenings but its perfect for a gastroexperience

Wonderful food, great atmosphere and nice service. Can't be beat!! We called 2 hours before dinner to reserve a table and when we arrived the place was full - we were extremely lucky.

This was a family evening out. Me, my wife and the two boys. All of us experienced consumers of Asian cuisine. This was a very happy surprise for us, great atmosphere (although we had to edit a few minutes for or table) great service and most importantly great food. The PadThai was excellent as was a green chicken curry and... More

We had to wait for a table for 20 minutes (like some other couples/groups as well) but we agreed that it was worth it. The food was really good and service was good. But due to the busy time we had to wait for our food as well . Thats the only minus for the place. Exept this its a... More

The Fifth District has many asian restaurants, but this one shines above the rest. With a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff, I would suggest this local for anyone in Vienna. If i had to complain it would be they are not open for lunch on the weekdays - they open at 5 pm. The Green curry and Thai Iced tea... More

This restaurant has delicious food for an amazing price. I've been there many times and was never disappointed. The food is solid. Simple and beautifully done Thai food. The dishes are quite big, so if you want to order any starter it might be a good idea to ask for one dish for each two. They also have Singha beer,... More

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
