My wife and I visited Patara again on Tuesday and as expected we again had an amazing meal in this wonderful restaurant. I have to agree with some other reviews in that this is not the cheapest restaurant to visit, however if you are looking a romantic meal, amazing food, wonderful atmosphere and great service this is the place to... Very good, romantic authentic thai restaurant. The food was superb, and specially the desert - rice in coconut milk - was great. Highly recomended.

Though the central location is simply perfect, the food and prices are not as perfect. I and my friends liked the food but it was not the best Thai I had by any means. Some 14 Euros for 4 small pieces of mango as a dessert really upset me - I was ready to pay that but I was expecting... More

My wife and I celebrated her birthday in a very lovely and romantic environment. Very attentive service and the food (even for me as a native Thai) very authentic and delicious! One star less because, taking location, quantity and quality into consideration, the food is a bit too expensive.

Took my wife for a lovely romantic meal at Patara again last night. As usual wonderful and friendly service and amazing food and totally relaxed and unrushed. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. if you like fish I would recommend trying the deep fried sea bass - I have never tasted anything so lovely.

Saturday lunch with my wife. At 12,30 the restaurant was nearly empty, so waiters had a lot of time to serve us. I ordered a Kir Royal and after a wIt of fifteen minutes the waiter came back to me saying that they were out of Cassis somI had to change my order. I then ordered a Tom Yum Kong,... More

I have visited Patara restaurants in several different countries and was a regular at the Singapore branch. I had lunch at the Vienna outlet and it was simply not up to scratch compared to the others. The menu choice was much more limited than usual. I had crispy rolls as a starter, then green (bio) chicken curry. The rolls were... More

We went to Patara with high expectations and returned with experiences that were, let's say, 'interesting'. The food is ok, the service below acceptable for this price range, the background music absolutely superfluous. Highlight of the evening? I ordered a glass of red wine. One waiter came with an empty glass, 15 minutes later (too late) another waiter came with... More

So... I read the recent reviews about the poor service and the food not being authentic enough. I have to say that my experience was quite the opposite. The wait staff was very attentive and extremely friendly. I will say the restaurant wasn't full and maybe about 16 people dining in the front area. But the 3 people who were... More

Im very often in the restaurant and it is really the best Thai-restaurant not only in Vienna (im also visit Patara in Bangkok). Quality and taste on highest level! Also the service and ambiente perfect! Soon (maybe start in April - weather?) also outdoor seating available. Price-performance ok.
