Best pizza i have ever had!

I try visiting this restaurant as often as i can, the pizza is exquisite. The environment is quite small also very cozy, usually full in the evening so i would suggest making a reservation. There are just 2-3 people in the staff, all very friendly. Service is fast and careful. Oh, its also quite... read more

I didn't expect much when we walked in as there weren't many people and the decor is a bit sad. I was very pleasantly surprised as everything was delicious and priced very reasonably. We enjoyed the antipasti platter, tuna carpaccio and pizza. I would definitely return.

It is considered one of the best Italian spots in Vienna and I mostly agree, you won't be disappointed by the food.. I was a bit upset by a sloppy and slow service (in Vienna a "relaxed" service is quite common, though) and by the summer garden on the back of the restaurant that resemble a garage and has a... The service was good , the food was excellent in preparation and quantity. If you are tired of eating Austrian food , or love Italian food like me , come to this little family restaurant.

This delightful restaurant is set in an attractive and picturesque neighbourhood of Vienna in the Museums Quarter. It is easy going, unpretentious, warm and friendly, the decor easy on the eye. Listed in the DK Eye Witness travel guide, we tried it on our first night in Vienna and returned every night for the rest of our stay. Giovanni is... More

Pizza always fits the bill if you want to mix up your local fare. Great small place - good sized thin crust pizza. I left full - good value, definitely didn't have the tourist trap feel to it, came across as more of a locals spot.

Great food and service. Food took long because of many customers, but the Cook came out and gave us complimentary starter. Red wine was too warm but the owner gave us new temperated wine. Complimentary shot at the end. We left happy

Had dinner outside, all of the food was delicious particularly the homemade pasta. The house red wine was a bit average but l can't complain about anything else. Reasonably priced too.

After I had read the reviews and seen the attached snaps on Tripadvisor, I'd a feeling that menu is composed with large variety of italian dishes. However, you have to note, that Pizzeria Osteria da Giovanni is fundamentally the place you may eat very good pizza. If you have another italian wish, you should consider another joint. The service and... More

we walked but it is not walking distance. The owner was friendly. We had ravioli and pizza 4 quesos. They were delicous. Because of we went there before the opening time it was empty. I am sure at the dinner time it would be much more better.
