Small but perfectly formed!

Having read many reviews on Tripadvisor we wandered along to this little gem on an afternoon to book for the evening. Good job as they were full but we could have a table at 6pm which was fine. What a wonderful experience, we both chose the set menu (easier all round!) & we were not... read more

We came here based on the Tripadvisor's good reviews and ranking. Based on that, we were quite dissapointed. It was marked as being #26 in Wien, but I find it well overrated. The food was good and tasty, but no wow. The service was rather poor, altough the waitress tried she brought red wine instead of white, the pizza was... More

We tried quite a few restaurants last week here in Vienna during our vacation and today we had by far the best food in this little charming restaurant. It took a long time to find a Pizza like this one - last time i remember was about 35 years ago in Italy. Don't expect a huge menu - they have... More

Our family live in Vienna and we like Italian foods very much. My husband asked a Italian friend to recommend a Italian restaurant. He recommended 3places in total but, this one was especially tasty. Italian family runs this cosy restaurant and the owner is very kind. We visit here once a week at least. I strongly recommend The pizzeria Osteria... More

But I ended up not asking them to in the end and tried something way outside my comfort zone and was really impressed. My husband was also... More

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins.
