A very nice little restaurant close to Museum Quarter and Mariahilfastrasse. The menu was a little limited with only 2 kinds of pasta and 5 different sauces - BUT everything they serve is made fresh and very good. I can wholeheartedly recommend the ravioli with truffle sauce. The pizza was a very thin crust variety but many different toppings to... More

We went there just because of the high TA ranking and it turned to be a big mistake. The place itself is nice and cozy, service is OK too but that would be all from the positive sides. The main drawback is that menu is very limited. We wanted to eat calamari and shrimps, but they didn't have them. Also,... More

The pizza and pasta are very very good. Ate here three times, every time really really good food. Prices are also good. Best pizza in town untill now. Service is not perfect but you can communicate in italian, english, german and romanian. Try it.

In Summer I was in Vienna with 3 of my friends, and we decided to visit Giovannis because it had a good rating on Trip Advisor. The first thing that happened when we came into the restaurant was that the owner said that they had some kind of siesta and was originally closed, but he would let us in anyway... More

Always busy and hard to get a table - try to call earlier! We only got 1,5h for our food so we choose pizza - I can recommend it with all responsibility. Fresh and tasty! Service was very nice also. Definetly a place you want to visit being in Vienna!

This is an amazing little authentic pizzeria in Vienna. My buffalo mozzarella pizza was simple yet full of taste. The only other time I had this good buffalo mozzarella pizza was in Italy with local friends. The panna cota that followed made me and my husband regret that we had decided to share it! I highly recommend this little gem... More

If you feel like having Italian food in Vienna, do not look any further. The food is so, so, so good, the prices are reasonable, the ambience is cozy, and the service is warm and prompt. We had the mixed bruschetta, which was an extremely excellent choice. The one with the cheese and anchovies is just over the top amazing.... More

Delicious meal. Super pizzas and yummy tiramisu, washed down with house wine. Friendly service. Great atmosphere. Good value. Overall a perfect little pizzeria.

I like Italian food because it is simple. This makes the demand on the ingredients very heavy. If the ingredients are good, you have a chance to taste something great. If not, there is no way to dress up the deficiency. You are totally exposed. I visited Pizzeria Osteria da Giovanni on a Friday after a morning business meeting. I... More

It was a nice place, but almost empty. We came here because of the good revieves. The food was tasty. We had pizza and pumping soup, which was delicious. The prices were average for Vienna. The employes are speaking also Italian. It is really hidden in a non touristic street, but it is not hard to find it.
