The fixed price menu at Lebenbauer might possibly be one of the best values for dining in Vienna. While Vegan, Vegetarian, and Pescetarian friendly, Carnivores will be fully satisfied if not outright delighted. This restaurant cuts no corners, delivering a beautifully memorable dining experience with its atmosphere, service, presentation, and flavor. The wine pairings are also spot on, and equally... More

Can I tell you how lovely it was to be able to go out to dinner in Vienna, and satisfy everyone in my family? The carnivores were happy, the vegetarians were happy, and the fussy were happy too. My husband ordered a catfish dish as part of the prefix meal and said his food was delicious. Others in our party... More

A restaurant that shows, how perfect guest "handling" can work. Going there frequently, I was every time just amazed by the quality as well as the presentation of the food as well as the most perfect service. The, sometimes, unusual combinations of different ingredients makes one be faced with totally new and fantastic experiences of what a dish can offer.... More

So often veggie restaurants are a bit puritanical - as if veggies don't want cosy, romantic dinners with linen tablecloths like everyone else. This place is a great exception to the rule - elegant little restaurant with fine service and good food. We chose the menu with the matched wines and the selections were good. All served with a flourish,... More

The restaurant was good, the staff outstanding! an excellent option for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians (some fish options, mostly - vegetarian options). The foor was good but not excellent - some dishes were too salty (cook in love?), the dishes in 4-course-menu came too fast one after another, the portions were big so it's hard not to overeat with that... This restaurant is really excellent. Two of us ate here after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. There is a really good range of vegetarian foods on offer and also some fish and chicken. We ordered a quinoa tartar starter to share and the waiter came out with two separate plates (with what looked like a... More

My wife and i ate there last night. We had the three course meals with the wine selections. I had the vegetarian and my wife, the fish option. Both meals were excellent and the wine pairings good. I would recommend as a good adult eating option, especially if you do not want standard fare.

I tried this restaurant after reading trip adviser reviews and I was not disappointed. The food was great and the service excellent. I had the dinner menu with a fish dish and 2 glasses of wine. at € 42 it was a bargain for Vienna. I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back next time I visit Vienna.

Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough, beautiful food, very welcoming and genuine. If you are vegetarian and in Vienna please check this place out. Very reasonably priced also. Definitely five stars.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
