Wonderful flavor of foods

My wife who loves fresh ingredients loved the restaurant and the choices. I enjoyed it also. We were served by the owner and each course was flavorful and had great taste. I had the perch which was fresh as was the side dishes. My wife had the chicken and polenta which she enjoyed. We shared... read more

My wife and I like vegetarian food, organic ingridients, fresh ingridients, and healthy meals. This innovative restaurant is therefore a great choice. Non-vegetarian options are also available.

Very nice setting as I had a table outside. Service here is very good and professional. Food is very good too. Very nice selection of local wines and staff voluntarily gave good description of the wines.

Really great place for the vegan or vegetarian, and also for the fish lover (they also have one or two chicken courses). This is not your usual vegan/vegetarian restaurang. Vegetarian fast food is not that uncommon and often tastes fine, but 'fine dining' restaurants and vegetarian are usually not synonymous. Our waiter were very attentive and professional. Great food (both... More

Lovely fresh starter, delicious soup and delicate fish. Wines well paired. Fairly priced. Toilets are utterly spotless. We recommend!

We chose this restaurant because we were eating quite heavily and felt like we would benefit form a 'lighter' menu with more varied vegetarian dishes. This restaurant indeed serves mostly vegetarian dishes. The Tofu and Broccoli Risotto was very refined and it as flavourful as fish or meat risotto. The finely chopped vegetables that made up some of the risotto... More

With my wife's journey into vegetarianism I'm adjusting to different expectations of what to expect from restaurants - so when she announced that she booked this place and they did fish, I thought 'oh well , can't be too bad..' In fact this was one of the nicest meals I have had this year. The setting was pleasant enough -... More

Our family choose this restaurant based on other reviews and we weren't let down. The food was fantastic and the service was great. The owner made recommendations for wine pairings and we were not disappointed. Great food, service and price for this restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time.

Visited 3rd July as two couples. Having read the reviews we were hopeful that the restaurant would not disappoint. Two of our party are fussy eaters and it was with some trepidation that we watched them view the menu. We need not have worried. The choice available was very clever. It was not an extensive menu but somehow catered for... More

The fixed price menu at Lebenbauer might possibly be one of the best values for dining in Vienna. While Vegan, Vegetarian, and Pescetarian friendly, Carnivores will be fully satisfied if not outright delighted. This restaurant cuts no corners, delivering a beautifully memorable dining experience with its atmosphere, service, presentation, and flavor. The wine pairings are also spot on, and equally... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
