We went to Huth Weihburggasse, next to Kärntnerstrasse. It was an outdoor seating some 50m away from the restaurant. A dignified and rather quiet place to have lunch with a view onto Kärtnerstrasse. They serve delicious and classical austrian food. Waiters are very professional, decent, calm and not in a hectic rush.

Right in the heart of the nightlife, with outdoor seating. We all tried a different Viennese dish to share and everything was great.

Went inside (to avoid the smokers grrrr) and had goats cheese for starters. We asked for this to share and for a wine recommend (Pinot noir). The starter was sublime as was the wine. Main course was liver for me and gnocchi for wifey. Liver was superb, best ive had in years. Gnocchi was very stodgy but as it was... More

Good Location Close to Stephansdom, nice traditional place with traditional food. They have also an outdoor seating close to the main Shopping road. Food is OK, they have tipical Austrian fare. The food quality is good, but not really outstanding. Service is OK as well, again not outstanding. The Restaurant was recommended to me by my Hotel, but I was... More

This restaurant was our first in Vienna. It was recommended by the hotel but seemed like more of a restaurant with mostly locals dining there. I love those types of restaurants. The menu had English but the staff did not speak much English. This was no problem at all as they were very good at figuring what we needed. They... More

Quick service, cafe ambiance, good food focused on "the basics." Great when you are on your way to one of the great concert houses nearby.

We were in a hurry because of a concert booking. On a saturday evening and without a reservation they took us in a were kind and quick. The food is not bad and atmosphere is typical and warm. Location is very central, just try it.

We were looking for a great schnitzel and we surely got it here at Huth. The ambiance was very nice, though not really something you'd call typical Austrian. Service was very friendly. And the food was super! Beware that the portions are very big. One order of the original veal schnitzel came with two large schnitzels (thin but plenty big)... More

Amazing breads, steak, wine, seafood, wine, fizz. What more do you need? Oh yes atmosphere and loads of locals - always a good sign.

Our hotel recommended this as typical Austrian. If so, cholesterol must be a massive issue in Austria. Everything we ordered - including the asparagus - came out fried. It was tasty and the schnitzel was thin and well done - just too much batter and oil. The ambience is lacking - a bit too cafeteria-like. Suggest you look for something... More
