Dinner outside was glorious

Have eaten here before for breakfast but finally went for dinner and drinks with some friends. We sat on the outside deck facing the first district and it was glorious, with a great breeze, even on a hot night. Cocktails were good and reasonably priced (for Vienna). Dinner menu is a bit short but... read more

We stopped by to have snacks and glasses of wine at lunchtime, in their top floor café - it has a 'chic' feel to it and serves good coffee, snacks and pastries. We were 'so' impressed that we booked for dinner that evening. We asked for "a romantic table alongside the restaurant/water's edge" - which is exactly what we received... More

We were returning to our hotel when we felt hungry and saw this restaurant on the banks of the Danube. Chic place where a reservation is needed to make sure you don't wait and get a table with a view. The food served is more like fusion but very tasty, accompanied by good wine. Be prepared to pay a bit... More

This was a very nice spot for a late breakfast/early lunch one day for our group just across the canal from the Sofitel. The food was good but not anything memorable. However, the outside terrace was a great spot to sit and our server was a delight. A bit pricey but we enjoyed ourselves.

In sommertime this is a nice location since you can seat al fresco. Even if we had no reservation with a short waiting time we were able to get a table outside. The service was fast and friendly. The drinks were ok but the club sandwich was really dry maybe because they use a ciabatta bread for it. They had... More

Situated directly next to the Danube Channel, Motto does not only serve delicious food, but also impresses with an amazing view over the Channel and its numberless beachbars. Especially at night Motto shows its comfy atmosphere, which always invites to stay a little longer than planned. Yet the most important part, the food, is probably the best of all. Serving... More

We went to this restaurant after a recomandation from a friend. Not amazed and not dissapointed, rather in the middle. The staff is kind and speaks enough english so you can get served without mistakes. The place is clean. The terace is great, but lower deck has a draft going on. The sight is average, no big landmark just the... More

Motto am Fluss is a very popular restaurant situated on the banks of the Danube not far from the city centre. The service and food are very good, but maybe best to book as it gets very busy.

Enjoyed breakfast and dinner on 2 occasions when staying nearby and enjoyed the food and value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff and option for dining in the Bar/Cafe area or downstairs in the restaurant both of which are excellent.

The location is nice, especially sitting outside on a sunny day. The staff are friendly and speak English. The menu doesn't have too many options, but there were choices for every diet. I had the vegan burger, which was absolutely excellent. I recommend stopping by here for a quick lunch or an afternoon cocktail after a day of walking around... More
