Great food

Food is very good, also service. Bread is served warm in a box with heated stones. If you`re staying close to Hauptbahnhof, it's highly recommended.

Went there for a business lunch, were seated in the garden in the inner block, which is cosy and quiet. The food was good, but not that special.

der Ringsmuth was recommended to me by a local hotel staff member who said it was traditional Austrian food for a reasonable price. The price was a bit higher than I expected, but the flavors of the food were excellent--especially the elderberry dessert. I had to wait several minutes for my check because of a large group eating in a... More

The Belvedere district near the sparkling new Hauptbahnhof has a ways to go before it comes into its own, gastronomically speaking. But just meters from the entrance to the station I found a real gem tonight. Der Ringsmuth is definitely a few steps above your typical Viennese schnitzel stop. Yes, Schnitzel is on the menu, and I bet it's delicious... More

We planned to walk to city center but felt suddenly hungry. We were beginning our walk when we happened to look across the street. Lo, and behold, food! We changed our plans and so glad we did. I ordered chicken cooked with pumpkin batter and a salad; I don't know what all was in that salad, but I do know... More

Even though we had not reserved a table, we were welcomed and given a table for four - whilst there were just two of us. The service was excellent in terms of politeness, attentiveness and accomodating a choice not even on the menu. The food itself was well presented, had a quirky twist to what was a traditional dish and... More

The new Hauptbahnhof (Hbf., Main Train Station) area is just evolving. Vienna’s 10th district is a classical working class neighborhood now dominated by a migrant population. - So, no wonder, no one comes here for an evening out. For e few years now and preparing for the opening of the new hub “The Ringsmuth” sets some interesting accents in neighborhood... More

We stumbled on this place because it was near our hotel. Everything about our meals was superb. There is a cover charge of €2 but the rolls and butter were delicious. I had rack of lamb which had been cut off the bone and it was perfect. I also loved the verges and polenta. My husband had beef which was... More

The restaurant was near the hotel where I have stayed. Due to Tripadvisor, I found this place. The service was okay, the food was great. Especially, the desert - chocolate musse - amazing!
