Cozy restaurant with great food!

Great place to eat in a very old building but food is great! The owner is an enthusiastic young person who also makes a lot of effort to make your visit enjoyable.

We had a lovely evening meal in this quiet charming traditional Viennese restaurant. We both had the amazing salad starter and then each chose a different fish mains. Too full for dessert but they gave us a sample of their special strudel - yum!

When with my family, seven of us. We had an early reservation as we were walking to the Spanish Riding School after dinner. They accommodated our large group without a problem. Loved the food and the service.

We had a delicious meal at this restaurant last night. The service was quite charming and each of the two starters and two mains quite delicious. Thank you to all the staff. The only downside was that a couple of dishes on the menu were no longer available - but it is a small restaurant - and non smoking thank... More

Our hotel concierge suggested this restaurant and what a good idea. Small family run with good honest viennese food with a home cooked feel. Good friendly welcome and attentive service. Excellent value for money. The apple strudel completed a very enjoyable meal.

Went with a business colleague. Unfortunately, Monday evening, restaurant was empty which helps the atmosphere. Service was good, by a Chinese server not to be expected in typical Austrian surroundings. Food was very good, especially the asparagus and the wine a Blaubergunder was very acceptable. Location is good and decoration quaint.

Looking around for dinner around the central part of the city was getting very hard on a busy Friday night and we ended up in this lovely little restaurant. A small menu but boy... everything we tried was great. The cream of asparagus soup, the traditional schnitzel and the caramelized nuts salad were all wonderful. For desert, apple strudel was... Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
