Charming restaurant

I live in Vienna and from time to time I like to check on new restaurants. I personally prefer not to go to the city center as it's always crowded and prices are higher. However I decided to give this restaurant a try and I was gladly surprised. You won't find a big menu, but what they offer is... read more

We did not have a reservation, and we assumed we didn't need one since this restaurant was advertisement his meals in the window and sidewalk. When we asked for a table, the waiter/manager told us they could not seat us because all the several empty tables were reserved. When asked if we could wait for a free table, he said... More

An Italian Restaurant with a limited menu but excellent food and varied wine list. Situated opposite Vienna's Christmas Market as well.

Popped in for a late lunch. Both of us had pasta carbonara but they didn't look the same. The portions were very small and the taste didn't make up for that. We got the feeling that the staff wanted to get rid of us when they started asking us if we wanted anything else while we we're eating. The bill... More

Don't go here if you're hungry as the portions are small and it's pretty pricey for what you get. You'll also be charged for the bread but won't find out until you see your bill

We were welcomed into the restaurant by a very friendly waiter, who showed us to our table. We were a bit unsure when we sure the short menu, but the food turned out to be delicious. We had the bruschetta to start and it was divine! Not only did it look gorgeous, it tasted incredible too! One of the best... More

We were warmly welcomed by a man who seemed to be the owner. The service was attentive. The food was good but not special. The wine was a usual Italian red, not noteworthy. The location was good for us as we could walk a few blocks from our hotel. The atmosphere was also regular, not so attractive. So, I would... More

Fast efficient service. Pumpkin ravioli was great. Lasagne was also very nice. Very friendly waiting staff. Nothing flash, but nothing wrong with our lunch visit. Would recommend a visit if you want some good food and a good service.

We located this restaurant when walking near our hotel and ate in their outdoor patio. The patio was located far enough back from the street to avoid noise and fumes. The owner (an Italian) was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a veal dish and my wife had gnocchi along with a recommended Austrian wine. We felt well served and... More

The food was very good but the salad dressing was much to sweet. When I sent the salad back (which was accompanied by strange looks of the waitress) I received a much smaller portion in return. Quite unprofessional.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
