Magnificent

Staff were very friendly especially the guy serving the outside tables, I have ate in many Italian places around the world but this one comes in the very top of the list. Portion of the food is more than acceptable, prices are Mid-range and finally the food tastes simply delicious. I recommend this... read more

I visited the restaurant for lunch. The pasta I took was very good. Although maybe a little small as a main meal for the day. Friendly staff and relatively cheap.

My family, including two children aged 9 and 13, enjoyed a lovely late night dinner here last night. Delicious food (although not an extensive menu), good and attentive service, and a fabulous spot to sit outside on the 'ring' that runs through the old city (near the stunning City Hall). Great area for an evening stroll as well!

My wife and I dined here for the first time this evening. The waiter was as attentive as one could wish and the service and food were both outstanding. Not inexpensive yet excellent value for money

I went here with a friend after having a nice walk around the Ringstrasse. It was great! We sat outside and had a lovely dinner. Our waiter was so helpful and friendly. He provided some of the best customer service in Vienna. He was attentive and looked out for our table. The food was excellent. I had the beef medallions... More

Wednesday, the day before, we had looked around for a nice restaurant and put this one on our short list. Since it was a rainy Thursday we didn't wonder to far and went in. Greeted immediately, we were seated and given a wonderful menu and told the specials of the day. We could see we had all the time in... More

Cantinetta am Ring was suggested by my hotel concierge, and I wanted a restaurant with decent food, without pretensions, with outdoor tables (Vienna had turned extremely hot). I was not disappointed at all. Great value for the dollar, and we had a most pleasant experience.

A nice restaurat for a lunch. In good location and with nice view from the tables outside. But the most important is the food. I've never eaten such a tasty chicken salad! It looked beautiful, somehow stylised ;) and tasted incredibly good. We've also had a lasagne, it was all right. What was strange for me, they added some additional... More

This is a cosy little Italian restaurant with a good vibe. I did notice a bit of a strange smell upon entering - a tad of a sewerage tang? The menu is quite limited although there should be something there for everyone, including pasta, risotto, gnocchi, fish, chicken and veal. Our meals were tasty, the warm bread lovely and crunchy... Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
