We had a late lunch here and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a schnitzel which was tender with a crunchy coating without being too oily. Overall, good food in an excellent location just off Stephansplatz with two mains and a couple of beers coming to €36.70.

The place offers traditional Austrian food. The service was friendly and prompt. I had beef consommé and veal schnitzel the first time. Came back two days later for beef tartar and onion soup. Excellent both times. Prices are reasonable per European standard.

This place is delicious and has one of the best waiters ever!! We came here one night and enjoyed the food so we came back two nights later for our last night in Vienna. We were soooo glad we did. Lum was our waiter and was friendly, personable, and made us all want to come back again next time we... More

Nice, typical Austrian restaurant serving middle-of-the road Austrian dishes, good atmosphere, always lots of folk, centre of Vienna and perfect for lunch while sightseeing or on business. Good, quick service.

With big portions and cozy atmosphere with unobtrusive live music. Wiener schnitzel (two options pork and veal - i went for veal) was huge and very good. I'm in vienna often on business and I always get schnitzel at least once so I have a benchmark for comparison and the veal here was great. I didn't go crazy but I'd... More

Four of us went here on a snowy evening, the restaurant was full but we were lucky to get a table in the window. There was a man playing a piano type instrument that really made the venue feel extra special. The waiters and waitresses were very helpful with our food choices, we all had soup for starters which was... More

I was part of a group of 40 teens and parents on a tour of Vienna, and this restaurant was chosen for us. It is quite charming. The food and service were both excellent. We even had Wi-fi! Highly reccomend this restaurant.

we ate here on the evening of 18 January, chose the place because it was handy for our hotel and we were tired and hungry. Really good food, tradionional Viennese, I had the Goulash and noodles. can't remember the price, but it was reasonable.

Food is good, but everything looks like it has to be good-looking. We had only soups, they were good, but other people ordered meat but dishes seemed to be not too full (a lot of vegetables). Pay attention!!! If you go there for dinner, you're gonna pay 2.5 euro per person for the service (one towel, two pieces of bread... More

Recommended by concierge at the meridian. Got a cosy table and had a lovely little meal. Service was great, a little live local music and some great comfort and local food. The beef in a mushroom sauce was a cracking flavoured stroganoff. The goulash and spaetzle also lovely. It's not fine doing or particularly cheap but good honest local food.
