Lovely patisserie

Included in several recommendations and in the trip advisor tours. Very popular and may need to wait for a table and much beloved by ladies of a certain age. During my last visit to Vienna I tried this place for having a coffee and enjoying one of the large variety of cakes they offer. It was an excellent choice. The staff was really friendly and I really enjoyed the raspberry cake at the terrace with an expresso.

Fantastic range of cakes, tortes, slices etc. Not over-priced and they have outlets all over Vienna. Staff are friendly as well.

we had coffee and various pastries. They were just delicious!!! The service was exceptionally fast and our waitress was very friendly and polite. It is in a good location where you can sit outside and enjoy watching the crowd. The apfel strudel was particularly good...

I read a little blurb about this place in a Rick Steves travel guide. My wife, 2 1/2 year old son, and I were looking for a place to have hot chocolate and founds ourselves here so we gave it a try. I'm glad we did! The chocolate and deserts were very good, and the waitress was very helpful, kind,... More

what can I say about this place? I think their reputation talks for itself. but I can give a TIP: try out their fresh and yummy macaroons. the ones I had there have been almost the best ones I have ever had.

Stopped in for a piece of cake and hot chocolate The outside window dislays are SO lovely and since we are here during Easter they are all themed accordingly. Chocolates in the windows. Cakes are very good and hot chocolate as well.

As an extreme cake and pastry lover I checked all the 'Kurkonditorei' hotspots in Vienna. Oberlaa was our first stop. We ordered the Trüffel Torte and the Oberlaa Kurbad Torte (which is gluten free). The cake was really very good and the cappuccino was great at Oberlaa. They have a range of cakes which are suited for people with allergies... More

A truly excellent konditorei with to-die-for pastry and excellent coffee. We went here thanks to my daughter who is very much into baking and it couldn't have been a better choice. Oberlaa is definitely a place worth visiting when you are in Vienna

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
