I frequent Pickwicks often ! I love this place ! The food is excellent ! The service is excellent - their staff seems to be long term employees and they have a great book and DVDs selection . If you a visiting short term please do not miss out :) - you will not be sorry ❤️

Of all the places I visited in Vienna Pickwicks was one of the most surprising. After days of walking around attractions it was a place my wife and I felt welcome to sit and relax all afternoon, and did. The staff were cheerful and accommodating, apart from one girl who seemed bored and disinterested, but the bar was relaxed and... More

I happened across this place during a brief visit to Vienna with a couple of friends. It was pretty busy and possibly a little understaffed. However the two guys working seemed to cope with it admirably and were very charming and friendly throughout, despite acting as waiters and cooks, as well as tending the bar. Cocktails were great, and since... More

Interesting cafe and lounge filled with floor to ceiling shelves of enligsh books. Came in the mid afternoon when many other places were closed.  Food was reasonably priced for the area but just average. Sandwich (5 euros) was good but fish and chips (10 euros ) were skimpy, best part of meal were fries. Warning pub chips are just Lays... More

If you want to have something to eat or drink fast: Dont go here! The restaurant was way understaffed. One waiter was kind, but the other one was clearly stressed and rude. So I would give service only 1 star. Atmosphere was nice. The place is characterised by a lot of bookshelves so you can have a read while you... More

I thought I would hang out at this quaint cafe and use their internet to do some work. From a waiter who spoke perfect English, I bought three or four tasty but moderately sized and relatively expensive cafe lattes. The internet was fine in the early afternoon, but as others came into the cafe, I started getting long bouts of... More

Liked the combination of library (many shelves with books) and cafe Liked the menu - quite extensive and cheap (especially a-la carte, e.g., soup-hamburger+salad) Liked the waiter - was very attentive and polite

A very intimate and quiet place, good for a cop of coffee and for a meal. The bar has a lunch menu, great price for a full meal in the middle of the day.

Pickwick's is one of my favorite places in Vienna. The atmosphere is relaxed and nice. You can always start reading one of the many books they have displayed. You can also buy it if you like it. The cocktails are really great and the happy hour is at the perfect times.

Decent "proper" pubs are difficult to find in Vienna, but we stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to eat. However, the food here isn't very cheap, so we ended up having a drink here getting some pizza later on from just around the corner! The whole atmosphere of the pub is kind of run down - but that...
