Description: Vienna is different! With an Australian culinary outpost located in the heart of the city. Go down into the world of down under - we serve exotic titbits such as tender ostrich and kangaroo steaks or fried grasshoppers in the middle of an Australian opal mine. Here you can also have the juiciest burgers and beefsteaks. Along with the meals, we also serve a superior selection of Australian wines and great Aussie beers including Fosters, Ayers Rock Red, VB, James Boags, Coopers to name but a few.

I was there with friends seduced by an australian mate who wished to show us a kanguroo burger. I was surprised that you could actually create your own burger and watch all sports on the TV while having a Foster and some wedgies. The service was kind and fast and the environment was awesome. Very close from U3 Stubentor station... More

I found Crossfield's a little over a year ago in Oct 2013. For about 8 months, I would go regularly and bring large groups of friends because of it's awesome atmosphere, friendly service and great reasonably priced food. What I found however is that when the menu was changed in the summer of 2014, not only were prices raised to... More

Looking for a good burger in Vienna led us to Crossfields. Its easy to find near the Opera in the First District. I would avoid the smoky bar upstairs and instead suggest making reservations for the 'down under' area instead - it opens at 5pm. The server came up with a great original cocktail for me. And served up good... More

Somewhat ashamed to admit that we found ourselves in a Australian Pub in Vienna. We did however and it was a nice, relaxing stop. We had been walking all morning and needed a break and a pint. Its a great location, near the palace and major attractions and across the street are 2 souvenir shops that allowed for one of... More

A great Aussie themed pub in central Vienna. Good range of beers and quite a young crowd. Offers a range of food which looked to be of a good quality.

Visited this pub by occasionally. Ordered Farmer's burger and Fosters. Great taste, friensly service, good English speaking atmosphere:) Paid EUR 58,- for 3 persons. Not cheap, not expensive. Very close to Oper, 2 min walk from underground Ksrlsplatz station. There's a Freewave WiFi available.

We've been going to Crossfields for years (7 at least) as we found the burgers and beers really good. Don't get me wrong, the food and booze are still very good but while there was basically no burger above 10 euros a few years ago, now, there's no burger below 15 euros... We paid 40 euros for 2 burgers and... More

I ordered the vegetarian burger - and as pictured in the menu it was meant to come with a veggie pattie. Instead I received a soggy bun with a piece of pineapple and tomato, layered in 5 slices of thick cheese!! Almost as if they ran out of veggie patties and couldn't be bothered telling me??! What a complete rip... More

Dear pissed off and ripped off, Thank you for your very forward feedback. Our Veggie Burger “as pictured in the menu” has always looked and been served like this. The Veggie burger description states “Mozzarella, tomato, pineapple, pesto burger!” so I am not exactly sure why you assumed that you would be getting a veggie patty as the menu is... More

I have been here before, and decided to revisit, such is the atmosphere.I ate the kangeroo steak (tasted like kidney), satisfying. Good selection of beer, complete with Ottakringer frosted glass for a hot summer's day! Very touristy, and comfortable inside, the only downside being the smoking.Eating with cig smoke swirling around isn't good, but this is Vienna, and I always... More
