Description: Vienna is different! With an Australian culinary outpost located in the heart of the city. Go down into the world of down under - we serve exotic titbits such as tender ostrich and kangaroo steaks or fried grasshoppers in the middle of an Australian opal mine. Here you can also have the juiciest burgers and beefsteaks. Along with the meals, we also serve a superior selection of Australian wines and great Aussie beers including Fosters, Ayers Rock Red, VB, James Boags, Coopers to name but a few.

I ordered the vegetarian burger - and as pictured in the menu it was meant to come with a veggie pattie. Instead I received a soggy bun with a piece of pineapple and tomato, layered in 5 slices of thick cheese!! Almost as if they ran out of veggie patties and couldn't be bothered telling me??! What a complete rip... More

Dear pissed off and ripped off, Thank you for your very forward feedback. Our Veggie Burger “as pictured in the menu” has always looked and been served like this. The Veggie burger description states “Mozzarella, tomato, pineapple, pesto burger!” so I am not exactly sure why you assumed that you would be getting a veggie patty as the menu is... More

I have been here before, and decided to revisit, such is the atmosphere.I ate the kangeroo steak (tasted like kidney), satisfying. Good selection of beer, complete with Ottakringer frosted glass for a hot summer's day! Very touristy, and comfortable inside, the only downside being the smoking.Eating with cig smoke swirling around isn't good, but this is Vienna, and I always... More

We tried the Kangaroo Burger and grasshoppers. The Burger was great and I recommend it to everybody. However, the single grasshoppers were smaller than expected from looking at the menu pictures (they are still worth trying, if you never had some). Moreover, the Australian beer selection is awesome. The basement of the restaurant and the tables are very comfortable. Also... More

Great cosy place for all if you wanna just grab a bite or maybe get fairly amount of food. Try aligator stake or cangaroo stake. Maybe even some fried grasshopers. If it's too much for you, you could enjoy great burgers and beers. Worth of visiting

We add this friendly restaurant to our list for when we need a burger fix in the 1st District. It is located on the back side of Hotel Sacher. The service was friendly, non smoking seating area is downstairs in the basement. We hope Vienna restaurants and bars will be smoke free one day, there would probably be a lot... More

I just recently have been on vacation in Vienna with friends. We went out to find a cosy pub to have dinner at along with a good selection of draught beers. When we passed the Albertina, my mate spotted the Crossfields pub and a quick decision was made. Right when we entered we found the style and interior design appealing,... More

Twice walked in here and was ignored by the stocky barman with dark hair (I think he was an Aussie) they didnt want my business, fine, i took it elsewhere! Shame, thats not what being an Aussie is about. Will never bother or recommend this pub to anyone! To the owner, you need to give that barman the boot. First... More
