If you are planning to visit Schönbrunn and fancy great vegi food then you should pass by this place! It was difficult to find restaurants in Vienna serving only veg or vegan. We came for lunch and ordered the three courses menu. I was amazed how great lasagne could taste considering we are outside Italy and in a vegi restaurant.... More

I stayed for three days in Vienna and was looking for a good vegetarian restaurant. I´ve heard of the Hollerei before so I decided to go there even if it seemed to be a bit outside the city - but actually I didnt take me more than 15 minutes to get there - Vienna is much smaller than Berlin. I... More

Good food, friendly staff, charming patio and cosy indoor dining. Don't be put off by having to take the underground a few stops from the center, or by the walk from the underground stop -- not the neighborhood one initially expects. However, the walk is actually quite short and the meal worth it. We found about the restaurant and received... More

The food here has always been good, and I was pleased to see the menu had so much more this visit. It is a great place with a warm atmosphere. Service is one of the strengths here and we were not dissapointed. If you are looking for a place where you can rely on fresh and well presented food I... More

Let me say that the food here is definitely five star. Innovative and interesting, with a lovely variety of flavours and ingredients. The service we experienced, however, really lowered our overall experience of the restaurant. Granted, the staff was busy, but we spent the whole night with empty glasses, and repeatedly asked for some water, to no avail. Two stars... More

Probably my first time in a vegetarian restaurant. Surprised by the savory food and the variety of choice. Nice place, service ok. May-be too spartan in the style...

We visited Hollerei four years ago during a short holiday in Vienna and we were so impressed by the food that we decided to try it again once back in town. I still believe it is a vegetarian/vegan paradise. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes and everything we had was delicious. The place is cozy and easygoing and... More

Good vegetarian restaurant with a very beautiful garden set up. We had read about this online and went searching for it on the day we visited Schonnbrunn palace. The restaurant itself is located in the industrial part of the district and we had to walk down quite a lot from the station. However, once we found it, it was such... More
