Splendid, even for non vegetarians

Dinned here with a vegetarian friend recently and since I don't frequent vegetarian restaurants often I was a bit apprehensive. However this is a delightful little restaurant away from the tourist hordes. The outdoor area is just delightful and the menu was very delicious.

This restaurant was very close to our accommodation while visiting Vienna. We had our first meal here. All three of us are vegetarians and really liked all the dishes on their menu, so much that we ordered a platter of the starters, which was awesome. Everything was finished on the plate. The Gnocchi, the Thai Curry and the third dish... More

I went there with my vegetarian friend & had a good dinner. The place was fully booked, but we still found a small table for 2 people. Food was ok, presented like in a restaurant, prices are similar to a good restaurant, both food & drinks. Quality was good. However: the place is a gasthaus, not a restaurant. service is... More

We just moved out...i saw the high rate of the place but not the last reviews...we are italians and the waiter-boss (italian % too)is been very hasty and fast to traduce a menu just in german...the place (the interior)is maybe to simple but for sure not very interesting...we took the "BELUGA LINSEN" for 14,90 and the "SPITKRAUTROULADEA" for 15,90€...the prices... We were a group of people on a business visit who were invited here by our local host. We tried quite many of the specialities and were very impressed by everything. A simple Schnitzel was the best I have had in Vienna- ever. Craft beer on the list, great wine, very nice and professional staff contributed to a very very... More

Very good vegetarian restaurant, walking distance from the Renaissance hotel, I had the pumpkin goulash and my husband had the homemade gnocchi. Both really good, reasonable prices, excellent service. They have a nice outdoor patio in good weather.

Hollerei did not disappoint, in fact we liked it so much the first night we went back the 2nd one. Yes service is a bit slow when its... More

If you are planning to visit Schönbrunn and fancy great vegi food then you should pass by this place! It was difficult to find restaurants in Vienna serving only veg or vegan. We came for lunch and ordered the three courses menu. I was amazed how great lasagne could taste considering we are outside Italy and in a vegi restaurant.... More

I stayed for three days in Vienna and was looking for a good vegetarian restaurant. I´ve heard of the Hollerei before so I decided to go there even if it seemed to be a bit outside the city - but actually I didnt take me more than 15 minutes to get there - Vienna is much smaller than Berlin. I... More
