We had breakfast here on a Saturday morning, and we sat on the terrace that was half empty, which was lovely. The view was nice, but not spectacular. The service slow, the prices high. The food didn't taste of much (we have an omlette and some other things), which was disappointing given the high prices the restaurants commands. While we... More

I was there after shopping. Service was unfriendly,as if I had disturbed the waiter. The food ( Chanterelles) was at more than 15 € expensive and definitely not worth it. If it were not for the view I would say : stay away .

Seems that the manager is really unhappy at work and dragged down the entire staff. They all forgot to smile and engaged with the customers. Menu is not very original with such a nice place to sit I would have ordered lobster no problem but they only offer basic dishes such as burger and salads. Obviously understaffed and overwhelmed servers,... More

In winter especially when its snowing in the evening the view to the Stephansdom is so unforgettable. Just have a drink and enjoy.

Horrible service. Even in an empty bar, you have to wait half an hour until you bring your order. In the bar has not nuts, just homemade potato chips. The only reason to come here - a top view of St. Stephen's Cathedral

Any place on top of a department store must give you warning signs. The view is the only reason to come here. Is is wide and open and the closeness to St. Stephens makes that impressive but the service price and food all leave a lot to be desired.

We got a table outside on a beautiful sunny evening. The drinks were good as was the service. However, the view is average at best. You look out over a sea of air conditioning units, satellite dishes and grey boring rooftops. The atmosphere isn't great either. Overall I would recommend that you go to a better cocktail bar that isn't... More

I went at sunset and could admire the Vienna skyline, The bar is not that high but I could really appreciate drawing in the tiles of St Stephan Cathedral and that worthed the visit. It is a little expensive and the aperol was not that good . I found the entrance thanks to the directions from a local fellow, the... More

When you go to Vienna you stroll around for hours and hours because there is a lot to see so afterwards you need to take sometime to relax in a place with a nice view, good service and delicious food or a nice long coctail in the evening. This is the place. If you go on the weekends you might... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
