shared a wonderful turbot for two with very reasonably priced wine. Has a friendly but stainless steel cool feeling. Liked it a lot.

The fish at this restaurant was outstanding. Very fresh and brilliantly cooked. We highly recommend the fish platter - huge variety of white fish with massive prawns and very tasty scallops. The fish is lightly cooked to perfection. Accompanying potatoes and salad were perfect to go with the meal. A nice selection of Austrian wines was available. It is important... More

This restaurant was so good we returned for another meal. Fresh fish cooked to perfection with friendly knowledgable staff in the middle of the market.

We visited earlier this year and the fish was superb. The restaurant was fairly basic though and a little cramped. Since then it has had a makeover and is the better for it. More room (still cosy though), new decor and a more attractive finish. Thankfully the cooking and presentation of the fish was just as good if not better.... More

Lovely and amazing atmosphere of the fresh fish and seafood restaurant, really great tastes, flavors, modest and well-lite restaurant full of wonderful tastes of different sauces, ingredients, etc. Highly recommended!

We had lunch at approximately 2.00 pm on a Monday. We came as a group of four peope and did not have a reservation and the restaurant was pretty crowded. But the waiters moved some tables and made it possible for us to get a seat. Three of us took the suggestion of the day, which was a clear fish... More

This tiny restaurant requires a reservation for dinner since there are only about 8 tables. The fish is incredibly fresh, the service is excellent. It's a little strange to have white table cloth dining in the middle of a Farmers market but this stall is definitely elegant and worth it.

we were looking for a nice place to eat lunch. The Naschmarkt in Vienna is usually very busy on Saturdays and it is difficult to find a table at any restaurants there. We found a tiny table in Umar Fisch; Restaurant was very busy but service was friendly and efficient, though we only ordered starters and wine. Food was excelllent... More

We stumbled into Umar after seeing the crowds and were not disappointed. The service was acceptable but the fish was amazing. We had a Sea Bass for three people and it was more than enough. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked And deboned. Although a little expensive, it was totally worth it.

We wanted to try this restaurant in Vienna having seen it next to our apartment. We arrived without a reservation and were told it would be about 30 minutes, no problem. After twenty minutes another couple turned up and spoke to the waiter and we all waited outside together. You guessed it, when the first table arrived the couple after... More
