This tiny restaurant requires a reservation for dinner since there are only about 8 tables. The fish is incredibly fresh, the service is excellent. It's a little strange to have white table cloth dining in the middle of a Farmers market but this stall is definitely elegant and worth it.

We stumbled into Umar after seeing the crowds and were not disappointed. The service was acceptable but the fish was amazing. We had a Sea Bass for three people and it was more than enough. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked And deboned. Although a little expensive, it was totally worth it.

We wanted to try this restaurant in Vienna having seen it next to our apartment. We arrived without a reservation and were told it would be about 30 minutes, no problem. After twenty minutes another couple turned up and spoke to the waiter and we all waited outside together. You guessed it, when the first table arrived the couple after... More

Maybe because the reviews I read about this restaurant were so enthusiastic so I had expected more. Maybe we just didn't choose the right dishes.....Anyway there was just too much oil over it. But sure it is a nice place to go if one likes crowded little restaurants.

I had not expected to eat this well in this restaurant even if there were many positive reactions on Tripadvsor. Fish restaurant in Vienna? But the fish plater for two was fantastic! You will not be disappointed but make a reservation before hand. The first evening we wanted to go we could not get in as there were already more... More

We ate here on a Tuesday evening and had we not booked we would have had a long wait - booking is essential, it was heaving. There's not a lot of space between tables so don't expect a cosy, romantic atmosphere. However, the fish is wonderful - we both had turbot and it was cooked perfectly. Service was good for... More

Our first choice couldn't seat us, but this made a very good substitute. It's a cosy little place in the market. The food was very good - we shared mussels to start, then I had risotto and my husband had shellfish. Ate every bite and was too stuffed for dessert. Too bad the waiters have such a "can't be bothered"... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel otherwise we might have passed it by. It is very small but its cosiness was very appealing on a cold winter night. We shared a fish and seafood platter between us and it was amazing - plaice, seabass, salmon, scallops, prawns, calamari, langoustines with rosemary potatoes and mixed veg. The price was... More
