Excellent omelettes. Very nice waitress, however she seemed to be the only one even though it was a peak hour. Some other staff there seemed not to have obvious roles. Buffet was not frequently refreshed, it was hard to find fruits and vegetables.

I ordered an appetizer with a veggie (radish-based) appetizer. When I was presented with the "appetizer," I laughed outloud and thought, "This is a joke, right? I've got 4 shavings of some root veggie, a couple of mounds of walnut "whatever," and ? berries? No joke. I expected our waiter to bring me the REST of the appetizer, since it... More

Food didnt impress us at all, though there were few tricks that came as a surprise. The restaurant it self was a bit dull as well. Food came quickly and the cost was average, but i wouldnt go there again. A bit of disappointment.

Arrived at the restaurant about 2115hrs after my concert. Quiet, nice place to relax after work (or maybe it's a Thursday night!). Waitress is attentive at the beginning and the complementary start was a nice touch. Limited menu - took the veal. Was OK, nothing spectacular. Look - 2/5 (could be more creative) Taste - 2.5/5 good, but nothing special... More

We had a set menu dinner. We asked for a wine recommendation as we didn't know the wines and were given an excellent choice. The food was very tasty and cooked to perfection. Serving sizes were decent and the service was attentive and prompt . Excellent value for money.

Fantastic innovative food choice with exciting twists on traditional Austrian cuisine. Fantastic value for money, we were genuinely surprised when our two two course meals and six glasses of wine came to just under one hundred euros, especially as we were treated to a surprise amuse-bouche and cake pops for afters! Fantastic flavours, perfectly matched wines, it was really a... More

The food was good and surprising, which made the experience different an positive. On the low side was the service, not very attentive, you had to catch them all the time and there were only a few tables occupied. Also, decoration wise, you clearly feel you are at a hotel eating space that can be adapted for dinner with a... More

Last night I dined at Five Senses, which is situated next to the lobby of the Novotel. Together with a company of colleagues from other places around the world. We had a very enjoyable evening, not in the least part by the service. Viennese charm with a little tongue in cheek flavour. Compliments for that. The food was nice also.... More

My husband and I went there recently for our anniversary. When we made our reservation we indicated that we would both like to have the Candlelight Dinner menu. While our table did have candles and some faux rose petals on it, we were seated directly in front of the very brightly lit breakfast buffet area. Given the fact that we... More

We picked this restaurant because it was on Bookatable, and the idea of Austrian cuisine sounded intriguing and possibly not as meat-centric as the meals we had been eating all week. I was a bit leery of a hotel restaurant, since in the US that tends to mean ok-to-mediocre, but the menu sounded interesting. The restaurant itself is modishly decorated,... More
