Only pizza

Possibly the best pizza in Vienna. They have two main pizza types: the traditonal form with tomato sauce, and the bianca, which uses a type of white bechamel as sauce. They are all delicious. They specialise in pizza so if you want pasta, salads and deserts go somewhere else. It is rather packed as... read more

This is my favourite place to grab a pizza in Vienna. It's out of the way, so it's certainly not a touristy place. Pizzas are very well priced, drinks are cheap as well. Service is fast, you'll have your pizza within 5-10 minutes after ordering. Don't expect a great, romantic setting, but excellent pizza! They have outdoor seating in the... More

Went there beacause the hype about it. We got the table cos we were just before the kitchen opened. In a half an hour the place was full and mostly all tables were reserved before hand. Pizza quite dissapointing. Tastles and too much burned. All three of us agreed that pizzas were just mediocre and too expensive. Service was also... More

Ate here as it was well reviewed and close to our hotel. The pizza was really good, however it was very busy, noisy and not really decorated in any way. I enjoyed the pizza but felt I couldn't really relax unfortunately as I personally prefer a quieter, slower paced dinner.

The menu there is really short, but is good so. Tomato sauce is perfect, mozzarella the best. It's a real Italian pizza in town. Salsiccia finochietto it's what you need to try there.

When entering this restaurant, you get the feeling of a neighbourhood restaurant. The restaurant itself is not fancy, with plain wooden tables placed rather closely together, but this is part of the charm. Looking around in the restaurant, you will find all sorts of people; families out for dinner, friends meeting up, people who appear to be on a laid... More

On recommendation we nipped in here for some food not long after arriving at our apartment. Pizza is cheap and tasty. Beer is relatively inexpensive. Our waitress was friendly. It is not one to travel for but if you are local you could do an awful lot worse.

We went to this place as it was close by to where we were staying, but so glad we did as it was fantastic. Run but genuine Italians, the pizza was very reaonably priced and excellent. The service was friendly and welcoming and the whole atmosphere was wonderful. HIghly recommend eating here if in Vienna.

Hands down, the best pizza in Vienna. Top notch ingredients are used. The pizzas are cooked to perfection in the wood fired oven. Other than pizza, no reason to come here. This place has no ambiance- in fact it is a rather unpleasant place to eat in- loud and not in the slightest bit cosy. It is like eating in... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
