After reading some favourable comments I decided to have an evening meal at Pizza Mari. Its location was very convenient for my hotel location of Taborstrasse. This was midweek & early evening & was pretty full when I arrived with just a couple of vacant tables - always a good sign. This is very much a "No Frills" type of... More

Pizza Mari is my favorite Pizzeria in Vienna, it has the south Italian style I like and the Pizzas are just great. Lean and mean and hot (if you choose so). No fancy 64 styles of Pizza trash. The place is styled so that nothing distracts you from enjoying your food and talking to your friends (meaning spartan, but in... More

Good service and delicious Parma ham pizza with rucola! The place could be better decorated inside and a shame the outside area feels like you are dinning in a parking lot. Maybe they can put some plant around to make it more cosy? Anyway, if you go there for the food then I really recommend it! Would go again!

Went to Pizza Mari on our first night in Vienna as it was close to the hotel and busy. Were seated without a booking and wait staff were more than happy to explain the menu and translate for us. Pizza was fabulous and freshly made in full view of thedinig room - ordered a prosciutto pizza and a local-style sausage... More

Nice, small restaurant, serving very good pizzas. We came without reservation, but waitress was kind enough to find us a table. It is true, they have only limited choice of pizzas, but it is still worth a visit. Also, try the deserts.

The place is nice, but the choice in pizza is limited (and no pasta for example). Service quite fast. A good choice for a quick diner.

Good pizza and good service. Would not call it "best pizza in the world". Quiet street (we've sit outside). They don't have a menu in English, but the waitress translated us.

A really cool place, they also have a coffee shop right across the restaurant. I like the set-up, and the Italian cooks are really nice and chatty.. delicious pizza.

I went here because another restaurant I was recommended was closed. First off, the place was busy with reservations (even on Sunday when I went), so best to book ahead! The pizzas were great wildfired pizzas and very tasty! I had a sütirol suasage one, and I'd have to say it was one of the top 3 pizzas I've had!... More

The restaurant itself is a little scruffy & unimaginatively decorated...not a great place for a romantic evening! But if it's great pizzas you are looking for this is the place. Authentic brick oven pizzas, delicious but a small selection. The menu is not in English so pray for helpful neighbors or waitresses.
