After visiting the Secession Exhibit we crossed the street and walked to the Naschmarkt area, which is like a flea market with lots of restaurants. The restaurant we chose was Tewa. I ordered an oriental grilled chicken salad. It was huge and very filling and delicious. I recommend ordering this salad.

Nice outdoor seating with heating units right on the Naschmarkt- gret people watching. Food was disgusting. I had oriental grilled chicken salad which was very large but the vegetables were cold and tasteless and the dressing was bitter and very unpleasant. My dinner companion had a platter of various oriental salads (humus, tomatos and cucumbers, eggplant)- it was served freezing... More

Tewa offers a variety of breakfasts, meals, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic; hot and cold). The emphasis is on Mediterranean cuisine and dishes inspired by the Far East. From the English menu, I couldn't tell how much of the menu was organic, as opposed to "natural". I seem to be in the minority. The hamburger was cooked as I had asked... More

This place is about organic and vegetarian food but still it suprised me with one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. My friend's falafell was not that great but it was ok. As it is (was) time for Strung (new wine) we tasted that too here, not bad at all. Altought busy evening service was just fine. And... More

Tewa is in the naschmarkt in Vienna, and it's primarily mediterranean food. The portions were pretty big and the restaurant wasn't too expensive. Nice outdoor seating and atmosphere.

To our delight we found this in the market; it was difficult to locate, but worth the search (it is not on the "main walk way", but in the second row of stalls/restaurants to the right if you come walking from the centre). We really enjoyed our food, the warm atmosphere, friendly service and the fact that it's organic and... More

Was not impressed. Maybe some of the other food is better, but I had the curry and it was completely tasteless.

Moved to Wien from the UK with m family 3 weeks ago, wife and I are both big fans of Middle East food. Headed to Tewa to try it out. Great atmosphere, full of bustle and life. Waitress was very friendly and helpful, while I worked hard to translate the menu into English she went and brought us 2 English... More

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market.
