This was a great lunch find for us on our way to the MAK design museum - creative food with Austrian influences. My dish was a rethink of doner kebab - "lamb burger" with thin lamb patties and eggplant sandwiched between two fried potato-polenta patties with traditional sauce and salad. My wife had a salad with couscous and apple, surrounded... More

For lunch, on a nice sunny day, we found this nice streetside restaurant (just opposite Porgy and Bess if you use Google Nav). Between St Stephens and Stadtpark We tried the Chalk-Board, Erdäpfelstrudel mit Faschiertem. (Flaky pastry rolled around Potato, bacon, herbs and onions) Very tasty, and served with pepper sauce and a very nice indeed large iceberg lettuce, very... More

Just a short walk from the main shopping area this is definitely a good place for lunch. Specializes in potato and apple Viennese dishes so vegetarians will love it - but also meat dishes if you want. We had wild garlic potato cakes with cabbage and asparagus mash - delicious!

We eat there a special potato dish and viennese shnitzel. Not great and nor bad. Just nothing special to tell you about. We could find better restaurants to eat .

I work around the corner from this restaurant and have been here quite often. It is very busy so a reservation should be made if you go during lunch however after 1 pm there are plenty of tables available. The service is friendly and quick, the food is also served quite fast. Even with a group of ten or more... More

When I visit other countries I rarely eat at a place like McDonald's or Subway. I usually try to find some place that is unique and locals like. My friend Heather lives in Vienna and she took me here. This place is so unique. I didn't expect what I got but I was thoroughly impressed. I'd recommend this place to... More

This was a great cafe restaurant that had yummy pork dishes. The waiter spoke good English. I had potatoes and pork with pepper sauce and the rest of my family had the diced potatoes, pork, onions, bacon, etc. My husband and daughter are gluten intolerant and we were happy that this restaurant had good gluten-free options! We left there feeling... More

This restaurant brings me back to Vienna year-after-year. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Europe. I love the fresh homemade potato chips and dips. They are out of this world. I also enjoy the apple juice. I have never tasted apple juice better anywhere. You have to give it a try. The juice is not on the English... More

The is a great little place on a quiet street with comfortable outdoor seating. The menu is potato and apple-themed, but the food is comprised of creative variations on standard dishes. The potato cordon-blue was excellent, but definitely try the cheese-filled dumpling appetizer! If you are looking for a change from Schnitzel and standard Austrian food while in Vienna give... More

The food is excellent. A shame credit cards are not accepted. Always best to book a table.
