Food in this place is really great! Pizza with high quality ingredients, sea food perfectly made. Only service could be better - If they take you as a tourist they try to cheat you with proposing everything what is expensive.

On vacation here in Vienna, we enjoyed a very delicious dinner at Danieli. We had strolled by it the night before and thought it looked like a "happening" place in a great location that would be a good place to try, and especially so after later reading some very positive reviews about it on Trip Advisor. Well, we were certainly... More

We needed a break from meat and potatoes a d decided to come here. It was just OK. The penne pasta with chicken was nothing to wtie home a out a d did not contain rosemary. The pizza was a bit mushy on the bottom. Prisrs were a bit high for what you. get.

We actually found this restaurant after being frustrated with the other two Italian restaurants we had tried for dinner on the same day in Vienna. Both times, we left very quickly due to either 1) taste of food or 2) (lack of) service. A smartphone application sent us that way quite late at night - and I am sorry we... More

Arrived at the restaurant at abt 10.30 pm. Service is very welcoming even and few clients are still staying. By the way I'm the last client to leave the restaurant, finishing at 11.30 pm. Mushroom risotto and chicken pasta are outstanding and the biggest surprise goes to the dessert chocolate ice-cream truffle, a bit crispy topping, fantastic.

Great location and great food. We had starters, but the main course would have been big enough by itself. Didn't try the pizza. We came early for lunch and were lucky to find a table.

Went here twice for dinner. The first night we had pizza, which was pretty drab, followed by some fish which was not too bad. Second night had the fish platter for two. It was alright, nothing to write home about. But: I was dining with a friend, and when we got the bill, for 160 euros, I handed the bill... More

Our first time here, my wife ordered spaghetti with clams that was terrific. The next night we both ordered it and it was pretty bad, almost tasteless, apparently due to the kitchen (and the chef) being overtaxed. We were going to go back and try again, but didn't get around to it. So I'm basing this review on the first... More

Our meal at the Danieli was one of the best meals in Vienna. If you need a change from the sausage and schnitzel this is the place to go. There is a large menu and the food was excellent. The service was wonderful. Our hotel booked the reservation and thankfully since the place was packed. It was a rainy night... More
