Best italian in the heart of Vienna

The restaurant is not easy to find. It is located down a side street. We dined there and it was a great experience. The food was really delicious. Authentic Italian atmosphere! We tried the soup, salad, pizza and pasta and they were sooo tasty! Loved it!

What a cozy place in the middle of Vienna. Went there for lunch and we all had some nice garlic and rosemary bread for appetizers, freshly baked and very nice. Tried the carpaccio which was delicious and after that fettuccini con scampi which is highly recommendable. All in all, go there and try many different Italian good size plates, I... More

Nice ambience and great location! Food is very subpar and service matched the food. We went with 4 people and they often messed up our orders and everyone's food was bland and uneventful. This just slightly above a tourist trap.

Went there with a group of friends for lunch on a Saturday. The rooms are really nicely done, the service was great and the food really tasty. It wasn't so busy when we arrived but was packed when we left.

An easy walk from our hotel in the core, we had a great experience. Summer weather allowed for outside seating, which was great for people watching while we dined. The service was attentive and efficient, the food was fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed their extensive wine list, the waiter suggested a full-bodied Austrian red that was a pleasant surprise.... More

I usually don't try other nationality's cuisine while I'm in a foreign city, unless it's something that has been absorbed into the fabric of the country (like Indian food in London or Indonesian in Amsterdam). But my parents really recommended this place (and they know their Italian) and I'm glad we did. How can one say no to Bruschetta con... More

Very good ambient inside of the restaurant and good customer service. None was Italian and even the food's taste was far from Italy. Expensive the check. Not the best experience in Vienna.

We were lucky that we found a place without reservation as it was full. I would recommend you book if you want to make sure to dine there. It's in the shopping pedestrian area. Our group all had pasta and all the choices were delicious. They have a great wine variety but they are very expensive. The restaurant is lovely... More

We visited Danieli's on our first night in Vienna after reading the menus on the wall outside. The fillet steak with foie gras caught my eye, and was as good as I was expecting it to be. We enjoyed our meal so much, we went back the next night too (and the food was even better!!) It also helped that... More

We were group of 7 people having dinner. The environment is really nice and service good. The food i found ok but nothing special and bit overpriced. But maybe it was my choice of dishes. I had the sea bass which I thought lacked flavors. Overall I don't have a need to go back.
