Found this restaurant on a tuesday evening. Without reservation and with a limited budget, this turned out to be an excelent choice. to get inside you have to descend a lot of stairs, where you finally get below surface in what looks like straight but long cellars. Two of them are used as dining rooms, as well as the connecting... More

We stopped in for a quick beer after a long day of sightseeing. The atmosphere is incredible. I highly recommend a stop in here for a drink and some time to relax before seeing more of amazing Vienna.

A labyrinth of cellars creates an interesting dining experience. The food is typical Austrian, of the type that can be found anywhere in Vienna. We had a long wait for our food.

The Esterhazykeller features traditional Austrian food and drink. I particularly like the summer garden, even though also the interior has something going for it - it is much larger than you think! Enjoy your "Weiß gespritzt" (white wine with sparkling water), grown in the city.

Nice terrace, close to the Graben street and between the Cathedral and Hofburg, but without crowded walking around. The waiters are quite helpful and kind. The schnitzels were excellent and the sirloin with mushroom sauce was nice too. Inside, they offer menu for gorups and people went out with a big smile to continue their visit to Vienna. Great place... More

Wienerscnitzel is maybe the food you avoid at home, but here in this restaurant you might just take it in the package: in the garden or in the keller, a pleasant walk from the Stephan's church, in a relaxed atmosphere (by the way - enjoy looking at the healthy-living propaganda on the walls in the garden while waiting for your... We had lunch here together with our 16 month old daughter. Positive is that the sitting outside is in a courtyeard so safe for kids to run around. They also had high chair. The food was good and the also brought just steamed veggies for our daughter when we asked for it. The negative was that after studying that day's... More

This restaurant has a very charming, quiet outside courtyard cafe and a historical interior. We had simple salads with meat in the outside courtyard and were well satisfied with both food and service. Two salads (with meat), large water, one glass of wine and two coffees were 32 euros which seemed reasonable. Would definitely go again.

This restaurant is literally underground in a cellar type environment. Lots of interesting historical stuff about Vienna on the walls. Food and beer are standard "Wien Kuche" traditional food, and at certain times of the day you have to get your own food at a counter. We were there in the afternoon and it was a bit understaffed, still a... More
