Great people watching spot

We stopped into Yohm for a mid-morning coffee and beer. The location cannot be beat in terms of people watching, and the service was generally good.

For Western travellers not exposed much to Asian food, this could be okay. But since my husband (Caucasian) and I (Chinese) are visiting from Asia, we naturally judge by average Asian standards. The fish we ordered with Thai curry sauce was actually cooked well and tasted quite nice. Not super authentic (less herbs used) but we did enjoy this milder... More

Very nice choice if you are looking for a quiet and lovely restaurant in the heart of beautiful Vienna. Delicious food, good wine, relaxing atmosphere, fast service. Value for money.

Located next to St Peter's Church in the first district, Yohm is famous for its Pan-Asian Contemporary Cuisine. Food is excellent, service is perfect. Great wine-list. Nice atmosphere.

What a disaster... Cheap decor: make sure you bring your sunglasses to deal with the orange wall paint. Terrible food..don't know where the chef learned to cook asian..probably at Mc Donalds.. You're better off ordering a burger in you room and save yourself a visit to this place.. Shame there is no way to give a negative rating..

Simple, casual eatery attempting Asian cuisine. Perhaps one of the better Asians in Wien yet barely 5 out of 10 for authenticity. Duck/mango appetisers with orange sauce had no closeness of Asian. Sashimi ok, yet did not seem fresh and were dry. Soft shell crab eatable, the accompanying sauce too salty, reminding of some cheap Chinese street stall. Dorade in... More

Thought the food was very bad...I had soft shell crab sushi roll which was ok but my 19 euros thai chicken curry was so untasty and tasted like they had just poured a tin of coconut sauce on it.and the cost is too much.I had a very mediocre brulee /ice... Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
