The food here was very good. Fresh and good sized portions of schnitzel. Good service and some nice Austrian wine to boot. Well worth discovering. Nice ambiance in the evenings.

This restaurant is just off the main thoroughfares and with a heavy curtain just inside the front door gives the impression of being closed. Good choice on the menu of traditional local food (the schnitzel stuffed with cream, mushrooms and onions was excellent) and a great beer selection.

We spent a wonderful evening at this cozy, warm and welcoming pub/restaurant. The restaurant serves all types of typical Austrian food. The food was great and the service very friendly. The place it highly recommended especially on a cold and rainy evening like the one we experienced. The place appears to be always full so maybe reservations are a good... More

Beim Czaak was recommended to us by friends. It is a typical small pub-restaurant. The food is great and portions are generous. The atmosphere was intimate and homey and felt like THE place to take refuge from a drizzly cold evening. The service was very friendly and we felt welcome as soon as we stepped inside. One of the best... More

We tucked ourselves into the little triangle of outdoor seating here after tromping around the area for a few hours. The scenery is lovely here, but not as lovely as the goulash. We both basically licked our plates clean. The beer was excellent also. The service was Austrian. :-)

Tipical austrian atmosphere, good traditional food. The waiter spoke italian language, the service was fast and kind. Two mains, two beers and one sweet...48 euro without tip...but we went away very full: the food was abundant and well served. Recommanded.

The good was very good. It was fried and what food isn't good fried? I can't tell you who our server was because friendliness was not his strong suit. However if you're looking for a good meal, not overly expensive in a w atmosphere, I think you'll be pleased .

Lovely restaurant in Old Vienna with outside space and a lively, busy atmosphere. Surprisingly, there were a fair few vegetarian options amongst the meat dumplings, schnitzel and goulash dishes. Worth it alone for the chocolate centered nougat dumplings.

Not a tourist destination and so let's keep it secret...................in the same family for 100 years; pork carpaccio was lovely, beef and schnitzel both good but leave room for the chocolate mouse - especially the white chocolate!!!! The waiter recommended a good local wine and it was very reasonably priced. Sure not large inside but outside many tables and the... More

There are many options for schnitzel in Vienna, some more well known than others. We were looking for a place that wasn't strictly a tourist destination and found just what we were looking for in Beim Czaak. We had a few Austrian dishes and all were good. The outdoor dining was lovely and the service - although busy - was... More
