Lucky find

This bar/restaurant is within the historic centre of Vienna but its prices are much more reasonable than the many rip off tourist establishments that can be found here. This bar/restaurant is within the historic centre of Vienna but its prices are much more reasonable than the many rip off tourist establishments that can be found here. We had two evening meals here, following the recommendation of Lonely Planet. It a little way away from the centre around the Cathedral - but well worth seeking out. We followed the recommendation of the management & had very local & seasonal dishes & throughly enjoyed the same Enjoy

Went for dinner, ordered both beer and food. The house beer was light, good and cheap. The food was tasty, especially the rösti potato that followed the boiled beef dish. It tasted as though potatoheaven had descended on my plate. The restaurant is situated a few blocks away from the buzzing tourist masses around the Stephansdomen, which is very nice.... More

Food was good and atmosphere was nice, in a quiet and yet very central spot of Vienna. The service was average at best, but the food was, as mentioned, good. My SO ordered a veal dish that came with roast potatoes on the side, the latter which was no less than legendary (the veal the potatoes accompanied was good as... More

First night in Vienna in a few years. Restaurant is somewhat away from the mad tourist area but well within the old town. Had a GREAT meal there, at a reasonable price. I have been to and lived in Europe for years, and this is one of the memorable meals I have had. Brought back a lot of memories. We... More

Very good has gluten free options, takes a while to make though but worth the wait! It has outdoor seating in the summertime. The waiters are very nice to customers. In my opinion one of the best restaurants in Vienna

We had a couple different kinds of schnitzel and some fried chicken. All very good. Service was friendly and waiter was attentive. I thought the schnitzel was better at Wilder Mann but I'd go back here happily. Give it a shot.

The food was delicious at this authentic 4th generation family owned business. I asked for a reccomendation as this was my first time in Vienna, the friendly co-owner told me the traditional dishes and seasonal selection. I chose the mushrooms which are seasonal over a 6week period and they tasted stunning. The beer was smooth (I'm not a beer drinker,... More

Amazing gluten free options, bread rolls upon request and the GF Schnitzle is amazing! My son would eat every meal here if he could! Every visit tomvienna begins here for us, the outside area is lively to sit and enjoy life in the inner city. The salads and other menu items are also delicious, so everyone in the family finds...
