There are better schnitzels going around, but the venue is fantastic and the servings generous. Worth a visit.

I went twice to this restaurant. I like the size of the dishes. Once in Austria, you have to order a Schnitzel at least once. And they have a huge one! Serves two easily.

well... restaurant was ok. the staff were ok... the food also was only ok. maybe it would have been better in the evening because of the scenery but at lunch we felt like we were in a fast-food restaurant. the goal during lunch was to have as many customers as possible in the shortest time. no need to return there,... Enjoyed the atmosphere and attentive service. Food good especially the Schnitzel - a monster plate-filler!

We arrived at the castle at 1:30 and decided to visit the museum before having a late lunch--big mistake. The kitchen stops taking orders between 2:00 and 3:00, then only has a partial menu from 3:00 to 5:00--of course, no signs alerting visitors to this, only the disdainful waiter, who seemed put out that we would want lunch at 2:15.... It is obviously an attraction to eat in a castle and to do so you expect to pay a little extra. To be honest we found it a little difficult to find somewhere nice to eat in Feldkirch on our first night, so settled for this. It was not bad, we both had the signature Schnitzel, large and well cooked,... More

Service was great, food also generous and nicely done. They made efforts to cram our large group in despite being busy, and in general looked after us all very well.

My Swiss friends recommended that we try this restaurant since they had received good reviews from their friends, especially about the Wiener Schnitzel . After eating here, I would say that it was good, not excellent. I think the big draw is that it is in a castle and the prices reflect that fact. When you walk in or out,... More

Great: - Schnitzel is amazing; best in the whole area! Love the potato salad as well! Tipp: - Dont take a salad in advance, the Schnitzel is really huge - Make a reservation – it can get crowded – and ask to sit at a window table – there youll have a great view - The museum is so so... More

The huge schnitzel was really huge, although not the best one I have eaten. What annoyed me a bit was that in menu under non-alcoholic drinks the size was only 0.2l. As I have also eaten in other places in Austria I would have expect that the drink they bring to table is not 0.5l. I had no idea I... More
