Schnitzel and Spatzele

Great food, great beer, great location. Need we say more? We enjoyed a tasty Austrian meal outside on a lovely patio.

The restaurant is in a hotel. Separated into smoking and no smoking areas. Or you can just sit outside. I ordered a cheese soup with croutons which was delicious. Then as a main dish i ordered goulash with spaetzle. Very good as well. And the beers are just perfect. Don't miss it.

We dashed into the nearest restaurant when it started raining, and what a lucky stroke. We were struck by the wood paneling and decor. Obviously a place with history. Goulash and spazle for me, and Wiener schnitzel for my wife. Both were authentic, delicious and filling. And the service was attentive, cheerful and fast. Altogether a great experience.

We stopped here for dinner on 9-Apr-15, a Thursday night. The restaurant was almost empty around 18:00 hours. The food was excellent. In fact, the Vienna-style schnitzel was better than any I had in Germany. The Gosser Brau was excellent! I would eat here again if ever in Bregenz.
