A taste of Italy

This was our third visit to Il Gusto and it was as good as always. It is a small restaurant and I can understand the need to book a table for dinner and that a group of 10 might have found it all a bit cramped. However, for a quiet lunch for two it is hard to beat. On our... read more

Marvellous little restaurant with authentic Italian atmostphere coupled with extraordinsry good quality and tasty fresh food. We had affetsti misti (mixed starter with grilled vegetables on one plate and second plate on a hill of rocket salad - very tasty variety of Italian parma, bresola, peccirino, parmesan and types of salami I dont know the names of. Matched with a... More

Kitzbühel ist a VERY popular place for skiing and attracts too many niveau-riche People. Places like these usual Feature tons of tourist traps. We came to Il Gusto by accident and had an excellent meal, (pasta) the food was just like in Italy, and what I really appreciated that the value for money was good and nobody tried to rip... More

Me and my boyfriend went here for our Valentine's dinner after it was recommended to us. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and even though it was busy the service was quick. The food was delicious, the antipasti and pastas were excellent, but the tiramisu was lacking a bit in coffee/liqueur flavour - Maybe that's just my taste! Would... More

Our first night in kitz, this was a recommendation from friends and it delivered. The food was very good and the kids loved it, we were there early so was empty, so waitress was patient with the tired kids. Very good pastas and pizza. The house wine was good as well. Not cheap but also not expensive

A group of us arrived in and we chastised for not prebooking but still given a table as the place wasn't very busy! Main waitress was very abrupt and almost rude! Service was messy and food was only mediocre! Steaks were over cooked and pasta was very salty and quite oily. Side orders were all mixed up between our two... More

We booked a table for 10 but we were crowded at a table for 6. All 10 of us. Food was nice (not brilliant), and the service friendly. We had pasta, but the scalopinna gorgonzola looked teriffic. Also, one of the nights we ordered take-away pizza which was delicious.

Nice cozy little place. Better to make a reservation ahead. There are two parts - best position probably in the front by the window. The internal part is quite crowded and therefore also a bit laud. During the winter the tables behind the entrance and by the bar have the disadvantage of getting constantly the cold air draught whenever someone... More
