Located just beside the University, arrived without a reservation at around 9pm in a group of 10 people from a conference and were seated at a table within two minutes although the restaurant was busy. Cosy venue, nice decor and relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very accommodating. Food was excellent and superb value. We shared large platters of starters, plus individual... More

The restaurant is next to one of the university campuses in the old town (on Universitatstrasse) and is housed at a quaint traditional building. The ambiance is simple and it seemed to be very popular with the locals. The staff was very polite and attentive and the waiting time was approx 15 minutes. The menu on offer is a combination... The food is very good; during lunch time there is a special offer of a vegetarian meal and one meat dish. Good value. The service is very friendly and the interior design is appealing. Good location near the old town.

This Nepalese restaurant seemed pretty popular as customers continued to stream in during our dinner. A crispy flat bread and water were brought to the table without extra charges. We shared and finished everything we ordered: pakora vegetable fritters (5), steamed vegetarian dumplings (10), and a lamb curry served with rice and naan bread. The food was tasty, but what... More

I am a big fan of Indian food and I can recommend this restaurant. It s a good break from heavy Austrian food. The portions are ok, the service can be very busy and and some of the items are adapted to Austria. If you're looking for some exotic feeling you can try eating on the short table and sit... More

Gorgeous food, friendly staff, good prices. Himal just never lets me down - be it a romantic dinner, a gathering of friends or a business meeting - it has always been a satisfying experience. Even my 10 year-old niece loves it!

Flavoursome, mildly spiced Nepalese dishes served up by attentive staff amidst the Tyrolean mountains. Tasty momos, paneer royal and marinated meats from the tandoor. Crispy papadams with chutneys as an appetiser. Great food and a warm welcome.

If you want a break from Austrian food and enjoy international flavors, this is the place for you. The food was not at all spicy which was perfect for especially my kids so that we could all enjoy the great flavors. We ordered saag paneer (spinach with homemade cheese), chana (garbanzo beans), and dum aloo (a potato curry). It all... More

Staff were attentive and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Having never tried Nepalese food before, they were excellent with helping with recommendations. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. 3 course meal for two with drinks totalled to €55. So good we came back the following night! Best to call in advance to avoid disappointment,... More

Excellent Nepalese restaurant right in the centre of Innsbruck. Superb value lunch menu and great a la carte. Both curries and other dishes such as momos. Warm, friendly service.
