I've been here a couple of times for lunch and recently once at night. Really impressed by the authentic food. Maybe next time I'll ask for things a little spicier. The dumpling starters were incredible. Also excellent value for money.

We turned up without a reservation on a Sunday evening without a reservation. many restaurants are closed on a Sunday so perhaps this one reaps the benefit of that. It was pretty full at 7.30 pm but we were found a table for two promptly. Half an hour later the place was full and people were queueing in an ante... More

Like many places in Innsbruck this restaurant is buzzing with life, atmosphere and energy! A cool, calm, relaxed and comfy vibe give way to some outstanding food. The menu was in German and English and the delightful waiter was full of chat and smiles which is always great to see. The food is so delicious. My favourite was the butter... More

Located just beside the University, arrived without a reservation at around 9pm in a group of 10 people from a conference and were seated at a table within two minutes although the restaurant was busy. Cosy venue, nice decor and relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very accommodating. Food was excellent and superb value. We shared large platters of starters, plus individual... More

The restaurant is next to one of the university campuses in the old town (on Universitatstrasse) and is housed at a quaint traditional building. The ambiance is simple and it seemed to be very popular with the locals. The staff was very polite and attentive and the waiting time was approx 15 minutes. The menu on offer is a combination... The food is very good; during lunch time there is a special offer of a vegetarian meal and one meat dish. Good value. The service is very friendly and the interior design is appealing. Good location near the old town.

This Nepalese restaurant seemed pretty popular as customers continued to stream in during our dinner. A crispy flat bread and water were brought to the table without extra charges. We shared and finished everything we ordered: pakora vegetable fritters (5), steamed vegetarian dumplings (10), and a lamb curry served with rice and naan bread. The food was tasty, but what... More

I am a big fan of Indian food and I can recommend this restaurant. It s a good break from heavy Austrian food. The portions are ok, the service can be very busy and and some of the items are adapted to Austria. If you're looking for some exotic feeling you can try eating on the short table and sit... More

Gorgeous food, friendly staff, good prices. Himal just never lets me down - be it a romantic dinner, a gathering of friends or a business meeting - it has always been a satisfying experience. Even my 10 year-old niece loves it!

Flavoursome, mildly spiced Nepalese dishes served up by attentive staff amidst the Tyrolean mountains. Tasty momos, paneer royal and marinated meats from the tandoor. Crispy papadams with chutneys as an appetiser. Great food and a warm welcome.
