Always perfect!

I ve been to Himal several times now and I m always surprised about the quality of the food and the service. The dishes are very tasty and cooked with fresh ingredients. Food was nice and the portions are decent. Service I think the waiters have hell lot of attitude issues. We had gone with our 20 month old son who was sleeping in the pram. He got up during the meal. And as soon as he got up the waiters seemed surprised and not very happy. ( just to mention he... More

My meal was fantastic and more than enough to fill me up after a long day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They also have an English version of their menu for those who don't read German.

Delicious and huge food. We also got a free starter. Mangó lassi is the best. Paying with credit card is not allowed.

Mains were good, you could taste the ingredients and the food was simply presented but not as fresh as we would have liked. Big problem was with the Momos - lettuce on the plate was brown and my momos were hotter on the inside than the outside and as they cooled they went all rubbery... sounds like a microwave job... Good, tasty food. Welcoming, chatty staff who appear to enjoy their jobs and the environment in which they work judging by how warm their interaction was. One tip, we were initially offered a table by the door which we asked to be moved from due to the chilly breeze and were moved closer to the serving area (hatch). This meant... More

Visited the himal after having been in innsbruck for over 2 years without going out for a curry and finally cracked, so off we went. Inside it was busy and lively and I was surprised to see there were some tables without chairs, but with cushions to provide seats at the low tables - maybe not for us but it... More

We visited Himal Nepal for lunch after a morning of sightseeing. To be honest, we were a bit doubtful at first... (Nepalese food in Innsbruck? How authentic could that be?) I am happy to say that we were pleasantly surprised - the food was fantastic! Main dishes were served with free rice and naan. The dhal, fish curry and grilled/roasted... More

We ate at Himal for lunch, after findi ng the restaurant through Trip Advisor. We ordered a few dishes to share and every thing was delicious. We had a lamb, a fish, a chicken and vegitarian dish. This accompanied with great bread and rice. The waiter was really friendly. All and all a great afternoon and our highlight in Innsbruck!!

My partner and I visited this restaurant at the end of December. We didn't book but they allowed us to take a seat at the bar while we waited for a table to become free. We ended up sitting in the back room where we sat on cushions on the floor. This was a really nice touch and made the... More
