Lovely patio close to but a little out of the main buzz.

If you want a small central spot but not so noisy you'll find this terrifically priced spot a through a hole at the end of the main pedestrian area or down a street that looks like there is nothing there. But it's lower down from the street and well worth looking for. We had excellent pasta and... read more

We were here on a busy evening, the patio was full and it was warm. The servers were attentive and friendly, the food was tasty. We had veal bratwurst, ravioli and a schnitzel-all were tasty. The spinach filled ravioli was better tasting compared to the cheese only filling. Sadly, we sat down wind from a table of chain smokers. It... More

I prefer this location much more than the tourist hotspots nearby. We were a party of six and I was ten minutes late because I had to get a new parking ticket (commercial parking lots were full, so I was parked at roadside with 90 min limitation). The otherwise got a meal but I was eight minutes late for the... More

I ate in this restaurant with my family some months ago, the place is really quiet and nice, and the people are really kind, the owner explained one of the dishes to my grandmother in italian, and with the waiter they gave us really good attention, we liked it so much that we went back there the next day. I'm... More

Just off the main road, this was quieter than many other tourist restaurants, and well worth a visit! Still the best schnitzel I have ever had :-)

Has a nice ambience and delightful garden area for warmer evenings. The most senior waiter spoke excellent English and really understood GF. It's a little hard to find but only 5 minutes away from the main tourist area & seemed to be mostly locals at the tables. We'd go back.

We were lucky enough to be in Innsbruck during a heatwave & were looking for places that had nice outdoor seating. We stumbled across the Fischerhaus when wandering around one night and were attracted by the lovely, large patio. The food is good, based on traditional Tirolean dishes. The portions are very generous. The service was excellent, fast and friendly.... More

We've here before, many years ago. The food is fab, serving typical Tyrolean meals but there's something for everyone. The staff are always extremely helpful and very pleasant. When the weather is nice you can enjoy meals outside under the shelter of a large canopy, or eat in the upstairs restaurant on cooler/wet days.

Hidden away just outside the old town near the Hofburg, this place is clearly very popular. The restaurant was booked out when I visited but they gave me a table at the bar. I had the best garlic cream soup I have every tasted, followed by spare ribs Tyrolian style. Good for the stomach but not the heart.

We have been to Fischerhausl a few times now on visits to Innsbruck and like it every time. The service is great and the owner is very personable, very friendly and chats with many guests. Love that! Food was always good: great soups, salads and giant Schnitzel. Everything is very flavorful. We also like the outdoor area in the summer.... More
